Going Titan all the way now, and will make a lock as my secondary once I hit max just so I can have options for the Crucible and raids.

Hunter does not interest me at the moment. They'd have to have some super sick end game gear for me to jump from the Titan and lock ship I'm on.

I played warlock and hunter in the alpha. Feel dirty getting hunter on my profile.

The Warlock subclass revolves around buffing abilities and reviving teammates. That's about as close to a Healer class as you're going to get.

Once I figured out how to use the Warlock's glide jump, I completely fell in love. (For those who haven't played: Quickly press X twice. Don't wait between buttons presses like you would for a double jump.)

My wedding adventure begins a few days into the beta, so I'm going to play as much as humanly possible during those first few days.

My only hope for the beta is a slightly higher level cap than before.

The Titan subclass allows for a massive Bubble Shield, but I hadn't heard anything about them being able to revive people. I think that's Warlock-only.

Agreed. In case you haven't seen it yet, you owe it to yourself watching how Bungie were developing the concept for Destiny and what were their inspirations for creating the universe of Destiny.

All of the beta videos have players capped at 7 thus far, and it looks like their XP bars are topped out.

I really hope it's not the case...

Nah, it has to be more than that because we've also been told we'll be able to use higher-level weapons than what were available in the alpha.

Bungie has announced the specific beta timing for its upcoming "shared-world shooter" Destiny. On July 17, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players can begin playing the beta, which picks up from the beginning of the game and includes a handful of Story missions, a Strike mission, and a selection of PvP Crucible maps. The beta will then go offline for maintenance on Monday, July 21, and return on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on Wednesday, July 23. The beta ends on Sunday, July 27.

It's not going to be 7. Don't worry. They won't go below 8. Now I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything above 8 but who knows what they have in store. Really what I'd expect is The alpha but more refined and starting you at the beginning, and maybe an extra strike and those extra MP maps. That's my logical guess if I had to make a bet.

Since we have this class war going full steam, what about race? My favorite so far is Awoken.

I like awoken females. I couldn't get a male character to look right. They will be my favorite for sure if the full game has customization options that make the males look ok. I like playing as my own gender.
