Was 'Zetsuen no Tempest' the anime I've seen getting a lot of recommendations or am I confusing it with another one? Don't wanna know what it's about at all, just if that's the one.

Like, I enjoy bakemonogatari's style of conversations that keep breaking off into different tangents that somehow relate to each other, but I seriously have no idea what the first episode of nise is even trying to establish.

So for the people who've been waiting for a Seinen Gangster type of anime, Woofington I'm looking at you. Well the manga Gansta is getting an adaption. The news is bit old like few weeks.

Shibazaki or whatever his name is continues to prove that he should've been the main character from the start, with the teen terrors being barely seen antagonists, because the show jumps from "meh" to really watchable when he's onscreen. Right now, Lisa's whole subplot seems to be shaping up into "that hentai scenario where a girl winds up with guys who barely care about her and bang her all the time is a massive improvement in her life." She doesn't seem to be serving any actual purpose in the show, which makes her existence seem like an attempt to avoid making the show a sausage fest.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Shibazaki winds up having the most screentime in total over the course of the series, with the teen characters just there to get the show greenlit.

After Hitagi Crab, we have a conversation with Hitagi at the beginning of Mayoi Snail,
... then a conversation with Mayoi at the beginning of Suruga Monkey,
... then a conversation with Suruga at the beginning of Nadeko Snake,
... then a conversation with Nadeko at the beginning of Tsubasa Cat,
... and we had a conversation with Tsubasa at the beginning of Hitagi Crab, so we have a complete loop in Bakemonogatari.
Then, Nisio wrote some more novels, and...
After Tsubasa Cat, we have a conversation with Tsubasa at the beginning of Koyomi Vamp,
... then conversations between Koyomi and everybody (
surprise guest: Shinobu, arguably the other main character of Koyomi Vamp
) at the beginning of Karen Bee,

I've seen one episode in Chinese at a friends house, but it's basically Bomberman so I kinda know it. But I liked that I at least recognised the show and it was cheapish, unlike say all the Ghibli, DBZ and Naruto (not that I'd buy that) which costs shedloads. There was a Bebop piece that was I believe £480. Also the pose of the characters filled the frame nicely which can be a flaw with many cel prints.
The good thing about this episode is that we'll FINALLY get the reason why fortune hates princess and the "delicious" past of "Hime" This is going to be good.
