Would be nice if someone like Arne could give his opinions, but obviously we have to accept that they are probably pretty busy right now what with UC4 and also Gamescom coming up.

Here's my entry. I don't know exactly why I was so drawn to pick this one, but when I stare at the details on the face long enough I can see such an eclectic range of emotions.

So I recently began my first run through of The Last of Us playing the remastered version. I saw this thread and it looked like a lot of fun, so here goes.

This is my unedited image exported to a USB and uploaded to Picpar.

I took it it during the mission

where Joel and his brother track down Ellie on horseback. I found her in a ranch house, and I saw that it had some really nice natural lighting coming through a window.

I accidentally ended up with a really nice composition thanks to the cool-colored drapes by the window. The windows also helped create a really nice depth of field effect. The filter system in the photomode also proved really versatile. It allowed me to sort of play with hue, saturation, and contrast when combined with the vignette tool. All and all, I think I came up with a really neat portrait. Thanks for the fun everyone!

Wow, when I first threw my picture up here, I thought that I may have had a winner. Having seen all of the excellent entries now, I have to say that I'd be ecstatic to be a top eight finisher. There are some EXCELLENT compositions in this thread. GAF is such a cool forum some times.
