I for one really like the visuals they showed. The brought a nice clean look into the the HD era. Games these days seem to be busy. I mean even Halo 4 was visually busy. This looks detailed yet clean.

I'm thinking some kind of power up. I like power up type things ala Halo 3. If they have specific power ups at specifics points on the map, that will be great fun. WAY better than everyone starting with their own. This is showing tons of promise.
Stinkles promised a cinematic resolution, 4K confirmed.

not much to say on what the game looks like, we barely got to see anything, but i LOVE what 343 is saying about halo 5. focus on 4v4 and arena maps. no loadouts. 3 week long beta with 7 maps and 3 game modes and PLENTY of time to implement changes prior to launch. sounds like 343 gets it and is really trying to make a halo the community (or at least most of them) can get behind. i'm VERY optimistic!
EDIT: just saw the screens. it is quite pretty. caint wait to see those areas littered with spartans engaging in battle and loads of fx, particles, explosions, and gun fire

wow, the Halo 5 beta is over xmas break. will definitely spend a few days shut in the house playing this before the semester starts back up. glad ill be picking up an X1 in October.
yeah i get the sense the 343i really got shook by the desertion of Halo 4 and the complaints to follow. Halo 5 has all the making to provide good multiplayer this time around. plus 3 weeks and 7 maps offer a lot of feed back for the studio to mull over. winter 2015 will be a good time to be a sci-fi fps fan, Star Wars Battlefront and Halo 5 will be out

Very Early WIP. Looks a hell of a lot better than the other map, I think it looks good. H2A Sanctuary actually looks excellent and very clean at native 1080/60.

Have we gone back to 2006? Same arguments regarding Halo 3's pre alpha who ended up looking very similar to the released game
btw I forgot it runs at 60fps, now it makes sense.
Hopefully the campaing will be on another level and in 1080p

No loadouts and a focus on 4v4 competitive play. This may be the beginning of something special. I love old school halo.
