Wow the AR is stupid powerful like the H4 one.
That seems like a powerful BR. Was the BR nerfed between Halo 2 and 3?

The shield popping sound effect doesn't always go off in H2A. I hope that gets fixed.
Never played Halo before, so I'm wondering something. What will be looking better, this remastered version of Halo 2 or the Halo 3 game with its non-remastered treatement? Because H2A is looking pretty damn good!
I'm expecting Bonnie Ross to explain in a detailed PR release on why there are no female Spartans in Halo 5.Hm, thinking about it, given the limitedness of Halo 2 Anniversary, I'm not expecting female Spartans (though I wish).
Halo 5, though! The beta!
remember SMG starts?

Joking aside, seems like given as both Reach and Halo 4 had them.
It got nerfed inadvertently thanks to crappy netcode, for the most part.
H2 BR was hitscan and had a tighter spread. H3 was not hitscan, so you had to lead your shots, making it a bit more difficult to land shots at range.

Halo 2 Anny
H2A for sure. It's getting the same 1080p 60fps treatment as Halo 3 but it is also built in the latest engine and consequently, probably has the best graphics we will see until Halo 5.

Why are rockets in Sanctuary?Looks like the rockets can lock onto turrets (and presumably vehicles). Note the beeping. http://youtu.be/EvUTX_zoCas?t=1m17s
Personalization feature and useful for self-organization but not full clan support or a redux of the h2 double friends list.
Why are rockets in Sanctuary?
You probably haven't played Reach Mlg much to know then. It works. Why are rockets in Sanctuary?
Reach MLG is the worst. It's way too stripped-down. Feels like I'm playing with, like, maybe 5% of the Halo sandbox.
I know what you mean, but the settings more than made up for it.Reach MLG is the worst. It's way too stripped-down. Feels like I'm playing with, like, maybe 5% of the Halo sandbox.
Why are rockets in Sanctuary?
It is a modified H4 engine the way the shield "pop" is exactly like H4.
I think the assets used in the gamescom build are placeholders, but idk for sure yet.Is the announcer audio place holder? Sounds just like 4, which had that terrible echo effect on it.
This is the one thing I liked.
Big Halo Maps > all other Halo maps.
Sidewinder/Blood Gulch/Containment/Zanzibar(?)/Waterworks/Headlong/etc 4 lyfe
I thought of another one: can you check to see if getting shot while scoped causes you to get descoped? Thanks!Going to play both maps tomorrow again. Anything I should be mindful of? Any open questions?
Hmm, I think Halo 4 will actually look pretty amazing in 1080p. The lighting engine was pretty sweet.
Halo 3 can also look pretty awesome at higher resolutions too.
Halo 3, ODST, and Reach are super underrated graphically.
Absolutely beautiful and very dynamic games.
hype++ for twitch spectator mode.
In case you missed it.
The return of ELO based ranks were confirmed by Max in this video.

Everyone uploading 30fps footage makes me
edit: Jackfrags is playing in one of those matches, hope he's got some good captures coming up.
I've been looking at the H2A Sanctuary footage all the while feeling like the art wasn't sitting well with me compared to the original. I was thinking as to why this is because I mean it's not like the original is much of a looker, it's dirt, some rocks, and stone architecture. So what was putting me off?
It's the sky.
I love that blue sky, always positively adds to the atmosphere and makes me feel cozy. The greys and yellows of H2A Sanctuary's overcast sky just gives it a more melancholic tone that has me feeling less at home with it; like playing outside as a kid and having the setting sun remind you that the fun's almost up and it's almost time to go home. If everything was kept as is but given a beautiful midday clear blue sky I think it'd be perfect.
On the opposite end of the spectrum we have Ascension. Bluest skies ever in the remake, while the original had more smog than LA.
