Relax and just be yourself. This may sound like a cliché, but for me it's truly the best approach. The worst mistake I used to make in dates was acting the way I thought I was supposed to. It never worked - or at least, never worked for long - because that wasn't me. I'm a very passionate guy, but I was afraid others would find it too overwhelming. I love dark humor, but I was afraid others would find me inappropriate. I'm a very assertive person, but I was afraid others would find me arrogant. So, I hid or curbed these features. That was a bland version of me, though. If you're not comfortable being you around someone else, and if that someone else is not comfortable around the real you, it grows tiresome very fast. So, just be yourself. I hope everything works out well between you two!

And thanks for the welcoming messages, everyone! :3 I'm also no longer a Junior, so yey! Now I can post threads and stuff, I'm going places!
Thanks for the advice. It's not that I don't know how to be around him, because I'm just myself and he seems to like that. It's just the in between.

We haven't really talked a lot on the phone (I mean via text) he usually doesn't seem really interested so that's why I assumed there wouldn't be a second time, but here we are. He's not rude or anything just very quiet I guess (on the phone). So I kind have to act like I don't care a lot either I guess? That's the hard part for me, because I think I might scare him away but then if I don't really reach out to him he might be turned off?

So I've kind of toned down how "interested" I would be, mostly because as I said he's usually very quiet/to the point.

Thanks! I haven't played it yet, though I've been meaning to check it out. I love point and click adventures. The other day, when I found out Syberia 3 wasn't vaporware, I kinda freaked out.

It doesn't look all that great from the screenshots (which are WIP, I know) but as long as the puzzles are as cool as the ones from the first two games I'm okay.

Haven't you only seen this dude twice? Chill out, don't over think it, especially after only 2 bang sessions. Plus you said that he was leaving in December, seems like a good way for you to get hurt again.

I know, I'm trying to relax. I'm just not that into having a fuckbuddy, but I'm enjoying it for now. I just happen to enjoy all the other little stuff more. I don't think he's leaving for good according to what he told me (even though that was the impression I got when he first messaged me).

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
This needs to happen, the salt will be real.

I would cackle to the heavens if it happened. But we know Kirkman is trollin'. AMC being cool with it or not, they aren't going to kill that fanbase.

He never really struck me as gay honestly.

Double so when the relationships he has with Beth and Carol seemed to try to be hinting at a romance. Though with Beth it's more a "brother/sister" relationship. Carol would be a valid retort, but they kinda dropped that after LOOK AT THE FLOWERS-gate/transformation.

So... I get where the article is stating he's ambiguous. I couldn't care if he is or isn't, but I'm rooting for him being one just for the salt levels.

That was hilarious lol.

Watched the first two episodes. Though I let it run in the background and didn't get anything of the story, just random moments. I will rewatch it tomorrow or Saturday though, when my attention span is getting better (due to more sleep).

I like the halfway realistically proportioned people though, that's very unconventional for an Anime/Manga.

That's definitely a good call. While you certainly could watch it in the background, the solemn, reflective mood that gradually builds the world is quite pervasive and there is a surprisingly large amount of interweaving with the elements of the story (including many subversions of one's expectations at times) which certainly makes it something that's better viewed with a lot of attention.

Good morning guys :)

So far a bad week for me but I'll do better next week.

What time is it where you live, daripad? It's already 8pm here. Crazy to think how people all around the world are living the same day but not at the same time. That's the beauty of time zones!

Exactly, I used to have a friend who worked at a nursing home, and loads of old people regret things in life, don't wanna end up like one of those!

Ok. let's see how it turned out lol.

Not sure which one I like better, I can make one that isn't transparent.

Ahh exactly!! :( the thought of that definitely scares me a little bit!! ;___;
Also, those avatars look sick!! :D!!

I agree, it's definitely not something you can watch while you are cooking or reading NeoGAF posts.
Where's that from? I'm guessing a fan hack? Miror B only had two themes, which are:

And

Didn't remember the tracks and thought the one I linked to was also an official track. Those two are very funky too though!

Time Zones are so confusing at times. Even England is in another time zone than the rest of Europe.

We live in the same timezone!

Me too, I'm gonna try my best to prevent that from happening.
Thanks!

I don't mind at all. I suppose the biggest reason is not knowing what the hell I wanted to do, back when I came out of high school I tried to study administration in college because my mum told me to, absolutely hated it and quit after three months, couldn't imagine doing that for the rest of my life. Then I got a job, which was supposed to be temporary until I figured out what to study, but that turned into years because I really liked it there and had a lot of fun with my co-workers, then the team changed and I quit to find something else, but I didn't have any luck, wasn't even getting invited for interviews, most likely because I don't have a degree, so figured it's time to get one. I'm going to study mediatechnology, so I'm gonna learn how to create websites, apps, even games, I have been doing that on an amateur level the past few years and thought it was fun.

So that's the story in short. I think it has its upsides as well, going to uni at this stage of my life, I'm not the insecure boy I was with the super low self-esteem. There seem to be other people in their twenties, so I'm not gonna be alone luckily.

Cool, good for you! I hope you end up fitting in <3

I didn't get the job. :(

Group high five for GMT+2!

You must mean CEST DST.
It is +2 now, but in the winter +2 would be Eastern Europe :p

European times are quite easy though. British Isles and Portugal are one hour behind and everything east of Poland is one hour ahead. CEST is most of Europe.

Wasn't there an LGBT gaffer living in Atlantic Time which is east of Eastern (US)? Nova Scotia I think.

So the power went out at our apartment a few hours ago, and I'm hanging-out at the cafe nearby until it's restored. So many good-looking men here - Holy crap! HylianGreg (at his Dad's house this weekend, helping him recover from shoulder surgery) would love it here.

And I'm realizing that, for whatever reason, my gaydar is crap with younger guys. Even the straight ones seem to ping. (I hope that I don't offend anyone, but I'm not sure how to phrase this next part.) They seem to have co-opted some traditionally/stereotypically "gay" mannerisms, fashions, etc to the point where my 'dar is scrambled.

Apropos shirtless, have you made any progress in regard of self-acceptance (body image)?

No, and I'm getting fatter everyday ;__;

Do you guys prefer shaved armpits on men. Observing one of my cousins it seems that I actually prefer looking at shaves armpits.

I see, so we're currently on Central European Summer Time? I don't get it, then what is GMT+2? I'm really bad with time zones haha

Yep, that's me.

I prefer shaved armpits. In fact, I prefer no body hair at all.

Though, I've found that this a low preference. Not anywhere close to a deal breaker.

I'm really bad at recognizing gay or bi-guys as well, it's not just a problem older gay guys have. Especially since some jokingly touch each other in a sexual manner or say stuff to each other (again, jokingly) like they are a couple or at least lovers.

Have you ever tried out going to a Gym? Or maybe going onto a little bicycle tour or something.

And to your question, that depends which hair and what the body type of the guy is. Hairy chests can look really good, same for armpits. And bellies. But then there are guys who look better cleanly shaved.
