Just did it a second time. Played "Did you rike it?" as soon as the bell started chiming. Just kept playing til I got baby giggle and did the rest of it after.

Feels so good to finally be able to complete this thing!

So I take back what I said earlier, it DOES work for me. Just gotta make sure the mic is on. (Stick that thing under bright light so you can read the text. Dark room won't work for that :p)

How do you force the teaser to start from the very beginning. It always drops me back near the final sequence if loops.

Have to delete the save data or complete it and it'll start over from the beginning.

It is completable even if you're at the looping segment.

1) Loop the segment so you start fresh/reset bell.
2) Go to phone and point camera at it (don't need to R3)
3) Soon as the bell starts to chime, play this video's audio into your mic (Make damn certain your mic is switch to the ON position!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3Jwm5jsoWU
4) Keep playing it until you get baby giggle.
5) Soon as you get 1st giggle, turn to entrance and take 10 steps to force 2nd baby giggle.
6) Don't move yourself with the controller and just wait until it starts vibrating. Once vibrating keep waiting, don't move and you'll get 3rd baby giggle
7) Phone rings, go to it and R3 the phone until you hear "You've been chosen!"
8) Go to garage door (down the steps) and voila, end!

It being relatively short makes it so easy to talk about and have people try it out. What a genius move this teaser is.

Possession works. As does the Hell method of looking at the writing on the wall and then moving back to the phone and focusing on it. There are ways to get the ending without a mic.

I spent like 10 hours without a mic with no luck, and I've went from the river painting to the phone a thousand times, not sure if I've ever gotten a giggle, it's hard for me to call it a trigger rule. Then again, who knows. Has anyone in GAF done it without a mic? and that includes the PS Camera.

Honestly, if I had to bet, I'd say this sound method is the only solution to the second giggle. What a coincidence that this is the one that I've been able to replicate every single time.

I've been trying to time how long does it take for a giggle to sound after you start playing the video starting just when the first chime plays, and I get most of them when the count gets to a multiple of 30 seconds, usually around the first 30s. I'm not sure what's the rule here, making sounds every x seconds, marking the beginning and end of a 30 sec period... I'll give it some more time tomorrow, I really want to know what's the trick.

Just finished the final puzzle after an hour of trying with the mic plugged in. On the verge of giving up, my friend was spinning around in circles in the bathroom. As a joke, I played Jesus Take the Wheel into the mic. Instantly got a baby laugh. The second laugh came shortly after. Kojima...I don't even.

Ran through this at my friend's house about a couple of hours ago. That Final "Puzzle" is bullshit. Fuck.

But, I did get nostalgic when I heard the theme play when we reached the end.

"Do you rike it" method. LOL

Of course that ends up working. This game is insane.

I will have to try it tomorrow. Obviously that is not the only way it works but if we can get it 100% of the time that is great. I like the theory of someone saying we should be chanting the numbers maybe that is the key.

Yesterday I walked around for hours, still nothing. I think I watched her spawn at every possible location multiple times. I have those 2 halls printed in my memory now. Lisa definitely hates me. This evening I'll be doing one final attempt, this time blasting stuff into the mic at high volume. That could be the one thing that makes it trigger, up until now I've only hummed or talked occasionally.

While I am now able to get the second giggle, I am not anymore Ble to get the first one for the 10 steps. Game really seems to be possessed or something...

I've narrowed it down to the MGS alert sound. First, I played it constantly, which, between the video lenght and the time it takes to sound everytime I click play, makes an alert sound every ~2secs. After 30s of the first alert sound, got a giggle. Then I tried waiting 2 extra seconds between play and I got it too. After that, I tried to play it every 15 secs, that is in 0s, 15s, 30s... and got it, fairly often by the 30s mark, and even sometimes before I even had time to play it a third time.
In every way I've tried, every now and then it takes a bit more time for the giggle to sound.

At least I know you don't need Kojima's soothing voice nor having to play it over and over again.

Not even the alert sound. Could be any sound or no sound at all.

I'm not implying the alert sound is THE solution to the sound theory. A sudden change in volume in the mic is probably the answer. But I've been getting giggles in 30s or less fairly often, unlike the theory of randomly going from one hotspot to another. That's why I've been trying to figure out how you get a giggle by making a sound. I may be wrong, but, honestly, to me it seems this is the only answer. Every other time we may have triggered the giggle might have been due to making a small sound in the mic at the right time.

Hope we will get some sort of update with some new stuff, and maybe a new area. They can make it some sort of early access from it to test new features and stuff.

I finished it twice from beginning to end. I could not find a "method" for the last puzzle and tried pretty much everything online without being able to identify something specific that works.

It seems pretty random so far.

did you try the "did you rike it?" method?

worked right away for me, and when i recommended it to some online streams as well.

Worked flawless the first time I tried. Can't believe it, thanks so much.

This looks just about confirmed; but I really doubt the specific clip mattered.

I think any repetitive sound played next to the phone is the key. Heck, maybe the repeated looping sounds of the cries could set it off, if heard through a mic.

I mentioned this in the stream; but I think the real objective is to repeat the numbers: "2-0-4-8 ... 63" as if chanting; while next to the phone into a mic. The numbers were far too significant in the teaser to not mean anything (sorry, the Kojima birthday thing is just silly). Even during the visual glitches; the strange voice is repeating these numbers.

Maybe the true intended trigger is to walk up to your TV while wearing a mic while she is crying!?!?!

Edit: when I got it the other night, I was wearing my Pulse headphones... so there was no sound coming from my TV or the room in general. Unless the mic picked up some noise from the headphones themselves...

Would walking up to the TV fall in line with any of the clues?

I don't have a PS4 yet, waiting on it, so I watched the walktroughs on youtube.... and holy shit I shat my pants...

I can't wait to play this game.

Quick question, if you collect all the pieces of the picture, will Lisa attack and kill you?

I haven't confirmed if she still does it after collecting all the pieces... but without all of them she will only attack/kill you once per play session. After she does it once, she won't do it again until you quit the game. (Not sure if that applies across the entire demo from start to finish though... there are multiple points where she may attack you. But for the final loop what I said certainly applies.)

Question that probably has been answered a thousand times, sorry!

I'm supposedly in the last loop (?). I have collected all the picture pieces. Once the bell starts ringing I can't get the giggle, only the ghost crying. Anything I'm missing here?

I've been through it 3 times, and when the music started said "Hello Lisa" who I think is the ghost. At the end of the hall, writen above the loop door says "I'm sorry Lisa there is a monster inside me". Anyway that worked everytime.

I deleted my save data so I'm starting from scratch. I got all the picture pieces before she opened the bathroom door the first time. I'm doing it without a mic.

I was looking in the bathroom mirror then the music kicked (after the clock hits 0:00) and I could see movement behind me in the mirror. Only happened one time, but really made my skin crawl. Also, when there was a crash near the front door, I looked up and the girl/ghost was staring at me from the landing above and with that front light swing made it 10x creepier.
