i'm picking up an x1 in november and just have a question, can you download the gwg before hand and then have them ready to play when i get the x1 like how you can download psplus games before you have the ps4, is that possible?

I think you need Xbox live and some money on your microsoft balance, i'm not sure. I'm planning to do the same actually, won't be able to use my Xbox One for a whole year after August. So i'm hoping I can purchase all the GWG on the website and download them on the console later on.

Personally, I think Diablo 3s story is balls. If you really want to delve deep into the game, you need to be a loot whore and enjoy numbers flying.

Damn, I figured that would be the case, that's why I didn't continue back then. I'll rent it anyways since I have nothing else to play. How long till I can be sure if I'll enjoy the rest of it or not? 2h?

first time in a long time where I have 3 days of full gaming time and I got nothing to play :/

I have a question for you guys. (I know it's slightly off topic - apologies I'm a Junior and can't post my own thread)

Basically I have searched the internet and can't really get an answer on this.

I want to move my already purchased games onto a new gamertag, is this possible or will I have to keep my old profile on the console so I can still access games?

The only reason I'm asking is that I currently have the gameshare set up with a buddy of mine and as I have mine on a separate profile to my main gamertag it's becoming a slight issue as I have to keep signing in ect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Oh right totally forgot about that thanks. I tried that out for like 30 minutes on 360 when it came out. I wasn't super hooked after those 30 minutes but I guess this game needs a little more time to be embraced.
I'm a single player/story kind of guy though. So is it fun as a single player/story experience (for one playthrough) or does it need multiple playthroughs/huge amounts of grinding to be enjoyed?

I really enjoyed D3 on 360, and I played single the whole way through. I think co-op would be even more fun, but something about the game is just very satisfying regardless. Leveling up and unlocking abilities is great fun, and of course there's always the loot!

You can claim the GwG titles through the website or Smartglass app as long as you have an active Gold subscription. You don't need money in your account, but I do think you need a payment method connected to it.

Well if this would be possible this would basically allow selling digital titles, so I reckon (pretty sure actually) this is impossible, sorry :(

You can't move games between gamertags, but you can:

a) change the name of your existing gamertag (costa $10),

Or

b) make a new gamertag and keep both in the console to access the games.

You have three options. The first would be to set up a new Xbox Live account and call Microsoft and beg. The second would be to just change the name of your existing GT. The third would be to have both accounts set up on your Xbox. You will be able to play any game owned by either account if they are registered on your Xbox as their "Home Xbox".

I would use option 2 if I were you.

Thanks for all the help guys, going to ring Microsoft and see/beg them to change it to my actual gamertag, if not I will just switch the account I buy my digital content on and for the couple games I do have purchased on the other tag I will just sign onto that account when I want to play those titles on my actual gamertag.

But once again thanks so much! I really did make a a huge mistake by assigning a second gamertag to buy games....

EDIT: So yeah just got off the chat with a really decent adviser. Essentially I can make both my tags set to home console and it'll all be fine and then going forward just buy it on my new tag.

Cheers again for the advise, you were great!

As long as you keep the old Gamertag on the console, then you should be able to access the game's on the new gamertag. Once the old gamertag is removed from the console though, the console shouldn't allow you to access the content.

So ya, going forward I suggest buying the content on your new tag, but you can feel free to access the old content as long as you keep your old gamertag on there.

I do have a suggestion for you, and this may help you with your formal review, try playing a course called "Autumn Ridge G.C." (make sure you put the G.C. on the end of it because there's another course called Autumn Ridge). It's one of the most efficiently designed, beautifully playing, and natural looking courses in the game... at least it played that way on the PC. My frame rates are always 15 to 20% higher than most of the others here. See if that doesn't have some bearing on the problem areas.

Thanks. I'll check that one out when I get the chance.

Was trying to wait for sales but I'm off work tomorrow and Diablo 3 is hitting. Might as well just admit to myself I'm going to buy it tomorrow. My gamertag is DeeDubs if anyone wants to play sometime. Hopefully we can start downloading at 12 tonight.

""Beat Drop" by Microsoft on Xbox One, an endless faller, has you control a businessman with the Xbox logo for a head."

For some reason I can't picture it as a great idea for their brand image... o_0

Oh man they bringing him back.

Space Engineers will be Xbox One console exclusive (already on PC) for 12 months supposedly.

Huh, the source article they link to from XBLAfans (their link is missing a colon) does not make any mention of exclusivity. I don't think can take the timed exclusivity mentioned in that story seriously. But it wouldn't hurt to ask the devs about it.

For the 2 games that have been announced for preloading and hopefully more in the future, are they going to continue to be available at midnight pacific time, or will w get access to mid night releases here on the east coast?

I had just assumed they spoke to the devs at Gamescom, but seems the post below yours gives definitive answers

Oh, there we go. I think he mistakenly sourced the Xbox link instead of the real sources. (XBLAfans is a volunteer outfit AFAIK, so I would be surprised if they attended Gamescom. But they could, if one of their staff lives over that way.)

Who within Microsoft could develop something like that? Lift London?

Not sure, really. That quote in the picture is from Boyd Multerer, he used to work on like LIVE infrastructure and stuff but his official title now is "Partner Director of Development, Xbox". His twitter says he is working on secret stuff.

I suspect we might see a team's name during the loading screen or credits when this game comes out, but ya, I'm curious.

my god those achievement pics hahahahahha

Yep...so odd. LMAO

Sorry to ask, but I missed this. What two games will be available for preloading? I just want to preload Destiny. :(
