Man, it feels like every time there's a new AT announced, I suddenly learn that there were a ton of people who wanted/expected them playable.
Ghirahim is cool and all, but his being a one-off secondary antagonist pretty much doomed him to this role (at best). You don't see Zant or Skull Kid or Agahnim or whatever on the roster.
The safe money for a new Zelda character was always, in my eyes, someone recurring like Impa or Tingle (though not this time).

Every time a leak every happens, someone on /v/ always "owns up" to being the one who created the fake, just so that they can get their own 15 seconds of fame.
It happened with the X&Y leaks that were true, never take anything random people say as fact unless they have the same tripcode as the original leaker.
The guy just copied the image, added in some shitty ears and extended the body and then heavily compressed it (more so than the actual leak) to make the differences less obvious.
Do you really think anyone owning up to it by showing their fake render wouldn't use the clean source image instead of a badly compressed one for no apparent reason?
Well I don't really "main" anyone, but the characters I am most looking forward to playing as are Robin, Rosalina, and Palutena

No idea until it's out and I get to find my favorite, but the ones I'm most looking forward to playing are...
1. Little Mac
2. Duck Hunt (if true)
3. Mega Man
4. Greninja
Then i'll likely default down to Link and Samus.
The princess in pink as always but I'm relatively decent with almost everyone else.
I'm having way too much trouble deciding this time around. As always, it's impossible without playing everyone first, but normally I at least have an idea of who I most want to try playing as.
If Mewtwo or Shulk make it and are good, then one of them.
If not... I'm debating between Little Mac, Palutena, Greninja.

I was confident in it before, but the Tomadachi rooms matching, but not exactly (so the scan couldn't just be ripped) was pretty convincing evidence it's real. Also the pieces fall together nicely in my head, with characters held back for the WiiU version, Donkey Kong's classic mode stage being a retro stage, the suspicious lack of Ice Climbers so far, and so on.
Also this reddit post puts it into perspective nicely

Assuming the leak is real:
1: Duck Hunt Dog
2: Mega Man
3: Pit/Dark Pit (whichever feels better, since DP is a clone)
4: Wii Fit Trainer
And then I'll probably spend a lot of time as Lucina, Robin, Palutena, Peach, and Dedede.
The roster is just SO BIG, it's hard to really pick just a few characters.
My real main will be Random Button.
It's hard to tell. Will the game play more like brawl or melee? Somewhere inbetween would be nice. Lots of new characters and not all of the past characters have been verified, right? I liked playing as Ganon, but I don't think he's been confirmed yet. If he is coming back, will they fix him so he's not bottom tier?
I am curios to see how the new characters will fit in. Little Mac intrigues me a lot. So does Villager. Toon Link was my main laast time around, so he'll remain in the rotation.

The Famitsu and thick black line bits are the only ones that really get me.
I just have a hard time imagining that the black line thing was really noticed by many.
The Tomodachi life stage isn't super unique though... maybe they just based it on a typical room from the game or something.

I thought it was brought up here yesterday when that image first popped up. I'll try and look through the thread.

If it was on DeviantArt, reverse-searching the image would have turned something up. Not only that, but both are poor quality images, not the sort of thing someone would have posted as art on their account. The compression is terrible. If anything, these look like edits from the leak's material- in other words, fakes to make the leak look fake.
One of the main reasons I'm skeptical about this "leak" is some of what I already mentioned about it's presentation to the web, and who is not present.
There is just a few I'm banking on. So either this leak is a very well made fake (which is possible), or it's real and they didn't unlock everyone.

I also recall reading that there aren't actually any rooms that look like that in Tomodachi Life, it's original to Smash.

I was looking around for it and haven't found a single matching reference in the easily available tomodachi references. Wouldn't surprise me if it was original to smash.

Even the reasonable #TeamReal members are still skeptical.
The presentation should be a non-issue though, as people have pointed out numerous times with the Pokemon X/Y leaks. We have zero idea what the conditions were when these shots were taken, and what sort of speed or secrecy was required to get them.

I just wanna remind everyone that certain characters not being in the roster, or certain characters being in, has nothing to do with whether a leak is valid or not.

Not to mention Tomodachi Life never giving players that sort of angle on a room for screenshots. We're getting into "the guy behind this leak had to build an entire polygonal room based on a screenshot that had not been released yet for a 50x50 pixel blob on a blurry screenshot" area with the leak stuff which just makes the whole thing sound insane.

When Brawl's roster was leaked, people called it fake because Mewtwo was out, Toon Link was a weird name and ROB and Wolf were odd choices for characters.
Everyone from Brawl except Ivysaur and Squirtle are back in some capacity and one cut character from Melee is back. I'd say that's probably the best roster scenario one could have ever asked for.
That's incredible.
Assuming the leak is real (though Dark Pit still has a reasonable chance despite it), my mains are definitely going to be:
Falco
Dark Pit
Luigi
Greninja
Palutena
It'll probably be a toss up between Falco and Dark Pit on who I use the most.

How expensive would the DLC have to be to make you not buy it?
Let's say give a number for Individual Character Cost and a number for All Character Bundle Cost, and assume there's 5 characters total as DLC.
We're not talking about what you think the prices SHOULD be, it's at what point do you go "this is crazy, I'm not paying that much for a character"? Or do you even have the willpower to say no?

More characters and DLC is fake? Hope he's right, but I don't know that he has any real credibility. Is that the third leak guy, or someone else?
Why should we believe that poster is the original leaker? The original posts came from 4chan.
I'm fully aware of roster related things with Brawl. I was there. That doesn't change my view on it one bit.
I don't see the problem with being skeptical of something like this.

I don't usually "main" a character in Smash, although there are always characters I just like being more than others.
I'm hoping Doc is more like classic Melee Mario, no Fludd or anything like that.
Greninja looks nice too. Mii Swordsman looks fun to play as.
There's no proof this guy is the same leaker, and there's only 5 slots left on the CSS + Ice Climbers and Rhythm Haven have Smash Run enemies.
