Is this thing separate to the main Paris & Arno campaign? The poster on Reddit seems to say we can 'free roam' these levels but also compete for points or something, Ireland and the famine was mentioned. Only thing I can see as to it being fake is the weird background to every box and the reused art for Aveline, Ezio, Edward and Altair. The art also doesn't seem consistent.

Exactly. Even the titles sound like titles to lore segments. Unlocking lore video's through side missions or collectibles just makes a lot of sense, as it would give you a reward for completing something, and also fill you in on the lore that a lot of people either never knew, or have forgotten about.
