Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

I wonder what that CoD pack would cost without all the cosmetic DLC.

$149.90, but it could be a bit cheaper than that (for example if you bought the Call of Duty War Chest bundle rather than the first three games).

Well, that's for the base games anyway without DLC. I guess some of that DLC isn't purely cosmetic.

I can't imagine anyone who would spend that amount of money on Call of Duty doesn't already own all of the games and major DLC packs anyway.

Hey activision, why not have a pack of all the DLC for games so we could buy all the DLC together and NOT have the game included in the bundle as well? Kind of like an 'upgrade' feature. That would be swell.

I want to buy the blops DLC but it would be 30 dollars. Thats just stupid.

Just played a bunch of State of Decay

Edit: Just to elaborate further, State of Decay has all the mechanics of a zombie survival game that I wanted ever since zombie games were a thing. It's like someone read my mind and made a game specifically to appeal to me.

I will say this, of the two retro-styled pixelart sidescrolling shooters with Force in the name that release this year, I like Broforce a whole lot more.

"It's just 2.49" they said
"It's just some optional cosmetic for your horse" they said
"It's just Bethesda trying something out" they said

I'd definitely buy The Movies if it came up. Really enjoyed that game when it first came out and I don't know where my old copy is anymore.

Looks like Mac only, and no Steam :(

I would buy this like 100 times if it came with a Steam key

I'd spend $59.99 for The Movies on Steam right now, and I'm lying down 5 feet from a boxed copy of the game and the expansion.

I played The Movies so much in college; highly addictive and fun little gem but it was overshadowed by The Sims.

THIS!! all of this ... I want this game
back
on steam SOOOOO BAD!!!!! ;(

What is The Movies? :O I've never heard of it, and Google isn't helping with a title like that, lol!

You basically managed your own studio, and put together films using hired actors etc. Could make some really fun short movies and see them succeed or fail and stuff, really great.

Max is crap, skip it. ITSP is good except for the shmup final boss that was a weird difficulty spike.

Is The Movies the last good Molyneux game?

It's more the first "promised the world and didn't really deliver" Molyneux game. Definitely that pivot point in his career either way.
Though to be honest he always got more credit than he deserved on the early classics.

Guys, I have to tell you, thanks for being a great community. You're helping me keep my sanity, and helping my work days not totally suck. My gf is in a nurse anesthetist program and I'm having to work ~75 hours/week to keep above water and have a bit of funny money. Reading your posts and collecting games is going to be the majority of my life for the next 18-24 months. So stay classy, steamgaf.
So you're saying that my posts will become your sole source of entertainment for the next two years? Man, I feel sorry for you :(

just grabbed insane shadow planet and ms splosion with the remainder of my steam wallet..
can someone explain to me how games are calculated as being owned by you?

for instance: when I mouse over the Library tab it says GAMES (500), when I go to my profile showcase it says 465 Games Owned.. when I then click on that and it brings me to my 'all games' list, it says 533.

wat? which is real?

Profile is the one most people consider "real." The others include f2p games, demos, betas, and the like.

Totally didn't realize they had purged GWFL from Ms Splosion man, definitely gonna pick that up now.

I've been waiting for a 75% off sale on the COD series for so long I've been gifted 3 of them along the years. By my family.

We shall never surrender.

... aaaaaaaaaand another one ... off to the "when it's 75% (or more) off" pile it goes ... splendid

It's going to be a Day 1 for me.
Shinji Mikami is my boy. Even if he produced Dino Crisis 3 and let it happen.
Can't believe he sat there and just let the franchise he created go to shit.

Say what you will about RE but he had nothing to do with 5 & 6.

now, don't get me wrong - I really DO want to play it (a lot) ... but there's no way in Hell I'm gonna pay 60€ for a game ... ANY game ... especially in a country where the average monthly salary is around 400€

Ahh yeah that makes sense.
Bethesda is still fucking about on those region prices.

Don't forget to remove the Mac version of Blops. It's cute how they added it to the bundle, even though it will be useless for most people. Hell, they could have made two bundles, one with each, but why do the right thing when they can get away with doing it wrong? Not to mention the fact that there exists a Mac version at all and that it's a different game sold separately, instead of being Steam Play.

And yet, suckers are going to purchase it.

How do you even make DLC content for a singleplayer horror campaign and sell that in advance.

Or does it have multiplayer as well and these are maps/packs etc? (I admit I haven't followed this much except that it's Mikami's new horror game and looks like a last gen title).
