The one from X-Statix that really threw me off was the
one where Dead Girl goes off on the guy who's messing with corpses in the morgue or whatever.
I just remember it being a really weird, messed up issue that made me wonder what the heck I just read.

As someone who loved Incognito would you guys recommend I read Sleeper? I heard it has a similar tone

Sleeper's pretty cool, but I read them back to back so I'm a bit confused in my mind as to what was in each. I remember Sleeper had a lot more superpower-stuff going on and the other Wildstorm stuff was cool (Grifter).

CBR: Liam Neeson Says He'd Play Ra’s al Ghul on "Arrow" "in a Heartbeat"

With season three of "Arrow" returning to The CW on Oct. 8, it's highly unlikely they're still looking for someone to play Ra's al Ghul, who they've teased as the villain in the upcoming third season. But if they did still need to find someone to lord over the League of Assassins, a former Ra's is willing and able to rise from the Lazarus Pit.

“I would, in a heartbeat, if it came my way, yeah,” actor Liam Neeson told MTV News about playing the role on "Arrow." Neeson, who played Ra's al Ghul in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, told MTV that he has not been approached about reprising the role on television. But when asked by MTV's Charles Webb, Neeson did offer some advice to the as-yet-unrevealed actor who will play the role on "Arrow."

“They have to believe in their philosophy,” Neeson said. “Ra’s al Ghul absolutely believed what he was doing was ultimately saving civilization, and it was quite a good argument he comes up with. Throughout the ages this fraternity, that brought the plague to wipe out a section of mankind because it needed to be regenerated again. Very dangerous, but you have to believe it.”

Too bad it won't happen. But it's an awesome thought.

Yeah but doesn't that fuck around with where this show lands in the DC universe? Talk about screwed up.

If he does make it into the show, is this an admission that Nolanverse still exists and could be revisited?

Don't care. Ignore that shit for all it matters. I just loved him in the role and if a movie actor is saying he'd be willing, "in a heartbeat" to reprise a role on TV, it typically means they really enjoyed it, and would be willing to take TV pay over movie pay to do so.

They should make a real Batman TV Series...

Yeah, they really should. There is no excuse why they haven't, imo.

You know what? I'd forgotten that was on my pull list. Shit, when was the last one that came out? What was the last issue number? I honestly can't remember.

It's at like, it's 6th series of reprints for the first issue, and is currently at like 39k. It's safe.

They won't cancel it. Marvel will be scrutinized for quite some time if they do. The book is a gift and a curse. If it ever does get canceled, you'll see Ms Marvel lead in some sort of team book shortly after.

Thanks for the info! I'm always worried about getting into a non-mainline Marvel book for fear of it being canceled.

Ah yeah, I only vaguely remember that one, but that was a very weird issue indeed.

I doubt, Nolanverse would then be part of the TV shows (At least Flash and Arrow, Gotham is different again...) and the Cinematic Universe is again seperated from those.

DC fucked really up with their TV/Movie Strategy...

Tim,
My first forth world omnibus HC came in (#4) and I'm surprised the paper seems more of a throwback look and feel. I got it from a library reseller. Is this normal for all of them? I figured it'd be glossy paper

I read a review of one of the omnibuses and yeah, they do all have that newsprint/matte type paper. It was intentional, as that's the type of paper the comics were originally on and it supposedly looks best on that type of paper.

With how well Rocket is, I would just let Skottie Young do it all.

Its a fantastic good comic.

Oh boy, I just read Daredevil: Reborn for the first time. What a fantastic good story. I need to pick up this Daredevil Omnibus and all the Minis from Miller on Daredevil.

Ok cool. It doesn't look bad but it had this oldish look and feel and was concerned I got something weird. I went back and looked at reviews and I now see it mentioned. It doesn't look bad it was just jarring when I first opened it up. It feels like it was published in the 70s or 80s

The whole series is worth a read?

You'd like it. I think the whole thing was only like, three volumes or something. There were a couple issues that crossed over with Dark Wolverine, so there's a book with those two issues of DW and two issues of X-23, but it's not essential.
