Well from some news paper the pre-order in China seems fine(i live in HK so i know Chinese,k)

It's true doesn't say much,but i think it's easy to understand why no one buy it from store,first of course it's not popular,then even there are Japanese wanna buy it,buy it from network store is way better because it's fast(some people already get the console in 9/3,according to 2chan) and the box is pretty heavy you know.

This thread is doing winners for my family. I laughed and yelled 'no'in disbelief, frightening my daughter.
From the non-existent waiting lines, the forced party pics, photoshops and Mehdi's tweet, this has been the best launch of all time.
As if MS expected another outcome. Friends in Japan have been telling us for quite a while there was next to no advertisement for this thing. Let's all just enjoy this thread and remember it as another chapter in the wonderful world of video games.

Rakuten is about 2000 yen expensive than Amazon JP,so i doubt if someone want to buy Xbox One,he will choose Rakuten over Amazon JP

Eh Amazon instantaneous bestsellers or rather hourly bestsellers isn't much information to base anything off of
Monthly bestsellers is far more indicative of wider trends
Unfortunately bestsellers for September haven't been updated yet as it's too early

That will be much better for getting a general feel albeit I'm not sure what Amazon's marketshare is like in Japan so who knows how accurate such comparisons will prove to be?

Destiny isn't that important as Japanese gamers aren't known to lap up Western-developed games.
Personally I find the announcement that Persona 5 is going to be on the PS4 might be considered possibly one of the major announcements of the Pre-TGS Sony conference, since that will really push consumers to go out and get a PS4.
On a weekly basis sure, for now, but I'm not expecting the XB1 to hit PS4's 1st week sales for another 2-3 years.
