I spent 3 hours playing the game yesterday and I only managed to get 1 Ascendant Shard.


This is unacceptable! It's really making me dislike the game

It takes a lot of planning and coordination, as well as making a commitment to 2+ hours for a raid session. After beating the raid with a GAF team, I realized that attempting it with randoms would be near impossible.

Finished the raid earlier some gaffers and it was the most fun I've had with the game. If any of you see this, add me when PSN starts working again. The best thing to do for the raid is to stay positive. No one really complained and we had a blast.

Just finished the bounty and strongly suggest that mission. Finished it in about ten or so minutes.

It is done. Finally got off my ass and soloed the Weekly Nightfall, and my reward is The Devil You Know handcannon. I guess that's somewhat sweet. Wanted coins though :p

EDIT: Whoa, got a "The Comedian" shotgun, what.

Just got to level 25. I bought an Exotic helmet from Xur. And I got a legendary Chest armor from the Queens Mission on Earth. Do the Queens Missions give any other non helmet and non chest Legendary Armors right now? Thanks!

You're probably right. It's just damn hard to find 6 friends that can join at the same time.

Sadly no. Only other things you can get is a legendary sniper and a ship.

Holy hell guys... suros regime plus being lvl 27..makes the raid sooo much easier and managable. I highly recommend it for the raid. Justifies spending those coins. Was my best practice run since I already beat it earlier.

Add people. From here, from in game. Don5' just add, send messages with your invites asking for raid members.

Use Destinylfg.net.

The game definitely needs a way to advertise you're looking for a raid group in game, but if you use this forum, the lfg site, and add good players you meet in game, you will easily find enough people to make raid runs with consistently.

After about 10 or so hours of mostly non-stop Crucible finally got the 500 Void bounty done. I have extremely mixed feelings. I think I've pretty much fully adapted to the multiplayer, after being done with it and switching to my normal setup I just absolutely wreck shop in Crucible now. I learned where a lot of good spots and tactics are, ironed out my occasional snafus with blinking, got the blink around corners and slide shotgunning down, got my general aim and skill level up some, etc. On the other hand the challenge itself was complete bullshit, and along the way I've realized most things in the Crucible are unbalanced. I think I enjoy it now and I do pretty well, but I also have a hard time taking it seriously at all? It's been a weird day. Also my Crucible rank STILL isn't Rank 3 which is super crazy to me, man it levels up slow. To be fair I was losing quite a few of those matches (did most of it in Rumble), but goddamn.

Yea.. same here. I will be taking a break from this once SOM is available. Then november comes with 2 great games.

I hope the DLC expansion packs includes alot of great stuff or I may not come back to this game.

Does the moon mission still work after that patch about the hard wipe reducing loot chance?

Do we know if bonuses from gear stack? Like if if I have two pieces of gear with increased melee speed is my punch twice as fast? Or is it just wasting a spot?

the thing they're missing the most out of that strike is peter dinklebot yelling "THEY'RE PENETRATING THE CORTEZ". obviously it's cortex, but, it's way less funny that way.

I dunno about pvp, but I think Bungie needs to buff Bladedancer for PVE. I really want it to be more of a crowd-control weapon than it already is. As it is currently, I think you can get a max of seven kills with it.
