Less known but still very good canceled TV Shows.

The only thing that enraged me more than its cancelation was the hate campaign run by Atlantis fans. It's like they couldn't stand that Stargate could go in a different direction besides corny and silly.

It could have been the new BSG.
It wasn't all about Atlantis, mind you. S1 of Universe has some shit-ass characters and stories that long overstayed their welcome, such as the lol-worthy Lucian Alliance shenanigans and the Chloe-Scott-Eli triangle stuff. I myself pretty much wrote off Universe after S1, but then S2 turned things around, had some amazing episodes, and pulled me back in.

If anything, blame the fuckheads at SyFy for killing the entire franchise on television in a misguided ratings-chase.

If an internet high five existed, I would give you several for this post.

Keeping with the trend only myself or few enjoyed, I was sad Code Monkeys didn't get renewed for a third season. At first I hated the show but it grew on me, especially after it went on Netflix. I wish there would have been at least one or two more seasons.

JPod. One season on cbc. So good.

Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous. One season on MTV. brilliantly funny.

Clone High. Enough said.

Yes! Watched that for the first time earlier this year. Loved it. Probably would have worked better on another channel...or Netflix/Amazon. The first season is on Amazon Prime so that's something.

Why isn't there a Star Wars RPG? And wouldn't James Bond make for a pretty good FPS?
The Event.

I felt that it was starting to really pick up during the later part of the season, then they went and cancelled it :(

I thought exactly the opposite. It started great but become more and more worse as the season progressed. The Icing on the cake was that old rejuvenating guy. His character felt so out of place.

Another show I really enjoyed that was cancelled way to soon was Awake.

The ending isn't really satisfying, but at least it didn't end with a cliffhanger as they used an emergency ending in case it got cancelled after the first season.

At least, I think its less known. I felt the show only got better as the seasons went by. This great show only had three seasons. /sad

Eureka

Secret town in america where the worlds super geniuses live, work and often bring the world to the brink of destruction through experiments gone awry.

I thought that show long outlasted its welcome. It got plenty of seasons, which included a near-complete rewrite of the show!

I thought it was still great. Apparently the show was popular but it didn't make a huge amount of money because of the sfx.

And although it got plenty of seasons, three of them were half length and the two "long" seasons were 18 and 21 episodes respectively, so it was really only three full seasons worth of episodes.

It got a lot of shit for being so different to other Stargate's and basically killing Atlantis to fund its huge budget but if you like sci-fi you should definitely watch it. It has amazing visuals, soundtrack, Rush is a fantastic character, and season 2 has some of the best sci-fi episodes since The Next Generation. Finding out what Destiny was created for is also super fascinating. I wish it didn't end. :(

That the show was different wasn't the problem I felt. It's that no one was likable and the plot wasn't very good until perhaps near the end with season 2 and by then it was to late.

Now the loss of Eureka and even Warehouse 13 still hurts. Same with Alphas.

The War at Home was one of my favorite shows, still watch it to this day when I just need something for background noise. Had 2 seasons on Fox and the first season was so-so but the second season was excellent television, it's a shame it was cancelled.

I'm gonna go with The Unusuals.

It was a really weird, great cop show starring Jeremy Renner and it sadly only lasted a single season. I thought it was doing something pretty unique and off beat for a primetime network show, which is probably why no one watched it and it was cancelled...

That we got 3 pages into this and noone has mentioned Deadwood is a damn travesty.

Now and Again
I might have the title wrong on this one, because a family drama of a very similar name—Once and Again, I think—aired at the same time. This one was about a dead man’s brain (John Goodman starring as the dead man) being transferred into a manufactured human body. It was just getting good—he had returned to his family and told them he was in a new body—when the show was cancelled.

This was also a great series.

I also really enjoyed several recent shows FOX stupidly cancelled after only one season:
-Terra Nova
-Alcatraz
-Almost Human

Sol..

I am Wayne Brady.
For me:

1. Don't trust the B in Apartment 23
2. Better Off Ted
3. Eureka.

I disagree. I felt the show got better and better with time.

Outsourced. I think I'm the only one on this planet that adores this show.

Naaa, I loved it. I knew it was doomed from the start tho.

Human Target

I really loved this show. Crazy car fights n' all.

Rubicon on AMC. I'm actually happy with the way it ended, though.

Extremely annoying they never even released it on DVD or blu-ray.

Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23. So damn hilarious and cancelled way too early :(

Loved that show. :( A lot of people already mentioned Better off Ted, which was also good.

I think I'm most bitter about Go On being canceled. I really loved that show.

you'll always live forever in my heart :(

Damn, that show was amazing. It really represented the tail-end of "Generation X", as the culture faded into irrelevance.

It's a shame it got stuck in the early '00s prime time animation death march. They had several more episodes that only got half-made before it was canned.
