It must be, the entire race the train was faster than me. However at the final sprint I suddenly was faster than it.

Was still a fun race to do though.

So I guess the Forza servers are still going through some stuff? Takes a while to collect my CR Rewards and XP at the end of every race and now every drivatar I see is a level 1. Also, I keep being greeted with "Forza servers are not available" when looking for some designs and checking Club stuff. Least it still letting me race. :p

Having fun with the game.

As others have said, the sense of speed is pretty amazing at times.

Almost makes me feel guilty at times, going on a long stretch of freeway, at night, when it's raining, going 150 mph in the wrong direction....that's a manslaughter charge waiting to happen..lol

Pretty sure we are still getting double payoffs for races. F5 had it too and it didn't identify VIP payouts, it just paid more. Before my VIP kicked in was getting about half of what I earn for races now on average. Iirc

I thought with the VIP pass all DLC cars were supposed to cost 0 credits for the first purchase? I still see some DLC that cost credits. I'm now at least showing up as VIP.

Edit: I uninstalled all DLC and reinstalled and now they are showing up for free... Yay.

Had the game pre-loaded on my Xbox One for two weeks.

It unlocked 2 hours ago, I could click the "install" button on the game store page.

Since then, it shows me 100% and is still downloading (already 2 GB) ... I think it is dowloading the whole 36 GB again :(

Man, I am so fucking sad right now. I can not even describe my feelings in words.

Just started the game and thats looking amazing!
Also, am I wrong or that demo area is much richer in details on the full version? It seems much more alive. Not sure if its just my emotional doing it to me.

I'm still pratically on the intro (going to the 2nd race). But when and how do I access my VIP and Ultimate packs DLCs?

You still have to pay for the cars of those packs?

vip stuff is working for me now.

But none of the pre-order or vip cars are showing up in my garage or for sale.

No, they clarified what the VIP bonus is

I've seen lots of people asking on various threads about "2x reward acceleration" for Forza Horizon 2 VIPs. To clarify: 2x reward acceleration refers to the doubling of gift value when using the wheelspin feature after leveling up. As a Forza Horizon 2 VIP, you receive double the value of the gifts that a non-VIP player receives. For example, where a non-VIP would win 20,000 credits after a wheelspin, a VIP would win 40,000. For car prizes, VIP members receive both the car AND the credit value for that car.

Yes the day one pack and VIP car pack should be able to be bought (one time) for 0

Anybody got their reward money yet? I redeemed it on the website this morning but there nothing ingame.

I do have the VIP crown now tho.

Seems like some of the achievement tracking stuff is buggy. I completed the finale and became the Horizon champ but got no achieve popup. But then I did get the one for choosing where the road trip goes for the first time.

Servers seem screwed for me. I see no cars for free available for purchase also still. How can I tell if my VIP has kicked in? Getting very disappointed with these issues.

Try going to stereo or another supported surround codec, like going from DTS to Dolby to LPCM and back again. I think something may be up with the way it gets streamed to the receiver or mix amp.

It either fixed it when I turned "optical out" off or switched to "stereo uncompressed".

Not sure what triggered it but all is well. Thanks again.

Has anyone experienced an issue where your Xbox One's audio/video (like the hdmi connection is lost) cuts out at random times while playing? Never had this problem before until FH2 so just hoping it's a bug in the game and not my Xbox One dying already. This seems to happen fairly frequently. I can press buttons on the controller and it will eventually come back but it is pretty lame.

That's weird. Are you in the preview program? Regardless, hold the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds. Wait a minute and turn the console back on.

Not that I am aware of. It's not a hard freeze that requires to power down the console, though I have had occasional freezing that required that. If nobody else is experiencing this then maybe it's an issue with my receiver or hdmi cable or something.

I get the same thing when my furnace turns on during winter. Might be power related like me.

Not many GAF drivatars? I saw one yesterday, that was it, I haven't seen a single friend or club member populating my world at all today.

Also, when I go through a speed camera, there no longer is a leaderboard which is aggravating. Anybody else notice this?

I haven't checked the model in game yet, but they have always used the JDM versions in the previous games so the '05 would be the '06 in NA.

There is a leaderboard, its all because the damn servers are fucked since before launch.
