I don't care for that show at all. Some of the worst fighting scenes ever. Didn't like it when it first dropped nor do I now. Sorry :/

I have no qualms about G Gundam, but fuck the overliance on Build Knuckle, aka Shining Finger ripoff, as plot-armorish wins in the last half of the show.

With Bandai Entertainment shut down, nobody knows when - or if - it'll be picked up for a US release. Pretty much all of Gundam is stuck in limbo.

I don't think we'll see Gundam picked up for release in the US anytime soon. It seems like Sunrise/Bandai wants too huge of a licensing fee in comparison to the size of the western fanbase. I could see Wing get picked up by itself sometime, because of the massive nostalgic audience it has in the West, but other than that, don't think its going to happen. Our only choice is importing the super expensive Japanese sets that have English subtitles.

Damn you Bandai Entertainment. We were just about to get Turn A too :(.

Almost none of the Japanese Gundam sets have English options of any kind, unfortunately (Unicorn and AGE are the only exceptions I can think of). I think they're trying to keep desperate fans from just importing everything while they shop the franchise around.

To be fair, they had about a decade to bring out Turn A. I had my doubts that would ever come out even before the company closed up shop.

There is a huge disconnect between Sunrise/BV's idea of Western anime interests and reality. Gundam in Japan is huge. Gundam in the West? Not even remotely close. It's one of the reasons why they pulled out and took the license back home. From what I've heard they're not willing to license individual shows. You license all of Gundam or none at all.

The SEED/SEED Destiny blu-ray boxes also had English subtitles.

I've got volumes 1 and 13 of AGE on Blu-ray, the English subs are well done.

Man there's seriously needs to be some notes that the Build Burning Gundam is not based on either the Impulse or God/Burning Gundam.

Also SD's are a major part of Gunpla, not having them in the show would be pretty terrible.

Hyaku-Shiki
will show up. Really excited if true. Maybe this'll be the inroad we need to get a 2.0 of the MG.

Alright, I guess now's a good a time as any to discuss a spoiler policy on new kit news. We'll definitely see a lot of suit spoilers over the season. I have no problem with a policy that makes discussion of suits based on kit news fair game, but if a lot of people here would prefer to discuss episodes spoiler-free, I'll add a policy to the OP.

If I've found out anything from other OPs, it's best to just have a sort of consensus ahead of time just to prevent any sort of disagreement. We already have a mix of spoiler and non-spoiler kits on this page. I assume it'll be fine once a pattern is set, but it can't hurt just to clarify what that'll be up front.
