So....Shadow of Mordor to take the top spot with a closer silt between PS4 and X1 than we've seen for the past few big titles?

Horizon 2 at number 3?

Probably on the overall Horizon 2 will be at #3 but individual SKU's I think we might see something interesting along the lines of:

Mordor (PS4)
Fifa (360)
Mordor (XB1)
Fifa PS4
Horizon 2 (XB1)
Horizon 2 (360)
Fifa (PS3)
Fifa (XB1)

I think the PS4/XB1 split will be pretty largely towards PS4 as usual.

Not sure about Horizon 2 360 charting so high. I don't see it happening.

Also think the SoM split will be closer than we're used to.

Pretty solid chart prediction otherwise.

Why would there be a closer difference between the sales of mordor on the ps4/x1 than we've seen before? FIFA had an official bundle with x1 and exclusive advertising, so I doubt it will be closer than that game. Also forza came out this week which may have drawn sales from x1 version of mordor.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
‘FIFA 15’ is imperious at No1 for a second week, despite the arrival of three new games in the Top 5 and a 70% drop in sales.

‘Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor’ from Warner Bros. charts at No2 with the biggest launch for a game based on The Lord of the Rings. Sales are split 56% on PS4, 41% on Xbox One and 3% on PC. ‘Forza Horizon 2’ starts its engines at No3 (73% of sales on Xbox One and 27% on Xbox 360) ahead of 3DS Amiibo-ready ‘Super Smash Bros.’ one place behind at No4. No1 three weeks ago, ‘Destiny’ (-30%) has to settle for No5 this week.
The launch of the PS4 version of Minecraft gives Sony’s versions of the ever popular block building title a boost, pushing ‘Minecraft: Playstation Edition’ (+176%) up from No9 to No6 with 64% of sales going to PS4 and 36% to the original PS3 version. ‘Minecraft: Xbox Edition’ (+0%) drops from No4 to No8, but will no doubt bounce back with the launch of the Xbox One version later in the year.

‘Disney Infinity 2.0’ (-26%) slips from No3 to No7, while ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-12%) and ‘The Sims 4’ (-18%) hang on to a Top 10 position, falling to No’s 9 and 10 respectively. Ubisoft’s ‘Watch Dogs’ (-28%) is not so lucky, dropping out of the Top 10 for the first time, down from No6 to No11. The only other new entry to make the Top 40 this week is ‘Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes’ from Focus Home Interactive/Koch which debuts at No27.

Why do you think so? SoM is advertised for PS4 and it's not a shooter.

EDIT: You were right after all.

PS3 XB1

Yup, Fifa LTD already over 1.2m in UK alone!

As for Why I'd suggest PS4/XB1 owners are the early adopters and so more likely to buy a game as soon as it comes out just as they did the consoles, hence a larger drop.

FIFA 15 XB360
FIFA 15 PS4
FIFA 15 PS3
FIFA 15 XB ONE

Why?

Why not, PS3 install base is alot bigger, plus Shadow of Mordor and Forza H2 was also just released on the Xbox One.

Chart actually looks quite healthy for MS this week, plenty of Xbox One titles in the top 20. At least in the UK they are getting towards the top of the chart, in the rest of Europe it is not looking healthy.

If PS3 Fifa is charting that high everything else below it has to be really low.

Something below 50k, assuming the PS3 version had a ~70% drop. Maybe a bit higher as the PS3 version didn't drop as much as the XB1.
It's not that low. Not an amazing start for Smah and FH though, but launching around FIFA time was always going to be tricky.

I'm impressed with Xbone destiny, it's right after PS4 version in the chart so the sales are probably very close even though Destiny is practically bundled with each PS4 purchase.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot most PS4 sales are probably from FIFA bundle.

I was expecting Smash higher, could this be a good sign for the Wii U one? ;p

It was a busy week + FIFA still going strong + Nintendo in UK XD
Wondering what's the actual sales number, though.

P.S. Thank you GFK for letting us know about this week's Destiny drop (30%), so useful since we had the one for last we- oh wait. The only comparison we can make is with Watch Dogs' corresponding week on week drop (41%), but without knowing what happened last week...eh.

XB1 is going crazy with ads in general in the UK isn't it. Doesn't look like it's helping claw back the deficit.

Yeah ive watched alot of football this weekend pretty much prime time for ads here and it was filled with xb1 ads for forza and fifa, i dont think i even saw a ps4 ad of any kind.

Because XB1 has a FIFA15 bundle and charts without numbers deceive me.
