some quick impressions of local co-op games I've been playing with the roommates:
Gauntlet
I liked this. Rather simple systems at work here but everything works as it should. Looking forward to playing more and seeing how the relic system changes things up.

A decent enough tower defense game Nice art and music. Pretty challenging overall.

And I bet we can't wait for a tantalising -33% off all Disney titles during the sales. To their credit thought they're not that bad, -50% is more like it
And yeah I'd totally snap up the remaining LEGO games I 'need' if they go on sale at that price.

Ooo I just checked on my friend's progress in Ryse and saw that he finished it up. Two completions of the game off one 20$ purchase on the games first weekend? Not shabby at all. It's like a good weekend rental type game and Steam makes it ultra easy to share muahaha.

Hmm, encountered a wee snag in my current plan. Right now, I want to play Champ Man 01/02 while watching Alien on my PC. However, when I launch Champ Man, due to it being an old game etc, the display ends up messing up, so it makes Alien look shitter as a result, not quite sure what's causing the issue though. Anyone got any ideas or is it something I must put up with?

Those blocks sort of flicker and move around. Same thing happened during the Bioshock Infinite benchmark. What should I do here?

I got my bro a 7950, it does this weird thing in tomb raider where whenever he's in a dark area with little to no light it kind of looks like Lara's hair turns blond. Besides that tho its had no issue in anything

You could swap out the ASUS Z97 Pro for the cheaper ASRock Z97 Extreme4, some of the money saved from which you could use to buy the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo. And yes, everything you need to put the system together will come with the parts you're to order.
I also have a business degree but work in an accounting office. I don't like you job and could never see myself being an accountant but having an accounting degree and getting designated opens up so many job possibilities. Pretty much every company that exists needs accountangs not only for managing books but for financial analysis among other things. Like I said, I don't want to be one but I think it is a good career choice if you don't mind the paperwork and such.

No motherboard will last, next year we'll get DDR4 for the mainstream (google Skylake, Broadwell will use Socket 1150 but it won't be a worthwhile upgrade). And be aware that 4 cores without hyperthreading might become a bottleneck over the next 2 years or so, maybe go 4790.
Also you're buying a K cpu, the only advantage is the ability to overclock them.
But oc or no oc I would always invest in a better cooler for less noise. Check http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=835397 for cheap ones and more hints. Actually I would post your config there (after reading the op).

1) I have the same motherboard, just with integrated Wi-Fi. It's pretty good, should have everything you need.
2) It should be fine if you don't OC, but stock fan is louder than others. You could get a Cooler Master 212 Hyper for like 27$/€, best budget performance cooler out there, and that K processor is begging for an OC.
3) No idea about that case. You could post this in the PC Building Thread. Lots of experienced and friendly folks in there who can help you with your build.
Yeah the components should come with all screws & cables which are necessary.
I lurked the Building Thread a lot, and I think remember hearing often about some disadvantages with ASRock boards. I think some components they use are worse than ASUS in terms of OC, forgot most of it because I went for ASUS stuff anyway.
