I think I been conditioned into thinking that drills was going to solve her problem.

Litrally me after numerous of these chapters. Its so hilariously mindblowing and hard to believe, but wow if its true. I love this genre just for these type of moments.

Not really a whole lot of rage in this batch of chapters. Yamato was still his moron self, but he was actually pretty reasonable by his standards.

I actually kind of felt badly for him after what happened with Honoka. He genuinely thought they were good friends for an entire year, then she kind of passively half-confesses, and when he's understandably too shocked to immediately react, she ditches him. If she was still pining for him, then it was probably better for her to move on with her life, but Yamato didn't do anything wrong, and I could see how he'd be hurt by what happened. If the genders were reversed, Honoka would be getting mocked as a "nice guy."

The Saki arc was just kinda lol. That they never had a conversation after his confession in middle school is just so MANGA. She never actually accepted his confession, she hadn't seen him for three years, and she never actually confessed to him while she was in Tokyo, so what was she expecting? I guess for a pinky swear to be her red string of fate.

It's nice that Yuuka finally got closure, and she's always cute when the story focuses on her, but it's also lol that Yamato got the exact opposite lesson from what happened that a normal person would. "Yuuka feels a lot better after getting closure with the guy she was obsessing over, so I think I'm going to double down with Suzuka!"

Yamato also did a good job dropping some truth bombs on Suzuka. He was a major fuckup, but it's true she should've actually communicated her feelings to him instead of just getting more and more bitter and distant until she dumped him. Assuming that the two of them being a couple is a good idea (lol). They seem to be communicating a bit better this time around, although Suzuka is still pulling the tsundere routine whenever she gets uncomfortable about something
sex
. At least they worked it out pretty quickly and boned instead of spiraling down into another total meltdown.

This seems like the dead period in the series that's the slice-of-life padding before the final Seo drama twist, much like the part of KNIM between
when Haruto and Yuzuki got back together and when he dumped her near the end.
We have less than 20 chapters left, so I guess shit's about to get extremely real. Although after what happened in Fuuka, I think I'm probably going to be immune to anything Seo-sensei pulls here.

Miki watch: There was way too little of her in these chapters, although she looked super fine in (and out of) her bikini at the beginning and in her tank top near the end. I'd read a 4koma that was just about her and Hattori fighting with each other.

The Obligatory Harem Contract 1
Thought its an interesting concept for a harem series. Though I wonder if he really is seriously going to try this to try to save them from dying in a car crash and sending the family into bankruptcy. I can think of many others methods to try to thwart destiny than going out with all five.

Miki is just going to get paired off with Hattori even though he's a major douchebag. He deserves better.

The series did get calm out of nowhere, I'm not sure if we'll get an actual last twist at this point, I'm expecting the series to focus more on the relationship and running aspect of the series.

It would feel pretty strange to read a Seo work that just gently cruises into a happy ending for the last 20% of the series without any crazy nonsense gumming up the works.

The Honoka plot wasn't particularly relevant, though it was nice to see Honoka moving past Yamato.

Not too happy for her to try and do a sort-of-confession to Yamato and then going to date some other guy, don't think it's particularly fair to the other guy since he'll just be "the second choice", but that's not what the story is about so lets ignore that and move forward.

So you thought we would get a bit of manga without Suzuka? Well you're wrong, Suzuka's back!

We had a small sub-plot with Saki but she just came and went. Man how bad was Yamato that he literally ran to Tokyo just cause he got "rejected"?

It amuses me that Yuuka and the other guy were "like siblings" and yet she didn't even know he was getting married soon. I'm always shocked by how fast she manages to switch her skin tone. One day she's normal, then next day she's ganguro.

Suzuka and yamato actually got to talk about their relationship and start to feel more like real people! That was shocking!

I already commented the sex incident, it might have been a bit too fast seeing as they had just got back together and they weren't even particularly intimate (they barely ever kissed!), but it's understandable a step that Yamato would want to take.
Suzuka reaction was somewhat understandable seeing as she was caught of guard, though her unwillingness to discuss issues again was annoying,

Of course when Suzuka claims she wasn't comfortable Yamato does the only thing possible, he doubles down and yells he wants sex. I hate Yamato. Be more understanding of other people feelings, think more of others and less of yourself and work things through.

Thankfully he came to this realization and went to beg Suzuka for forgiveness, which opened the doors for sex.

Yasunobu is a creep:

I mean, holy shit, what?

It absolutely destroys me inside that he's 95% assured to end with Miki.

Things felt very drama-less this past 30 chapters, we're going to start getting closer soon, and I'm guessing a few timeskips in college so we can see Yamato/Suzuka win something at a big competition.

And so we enter the last week. It has been truly a wonderful ride so far, lets end it in beauty.

It would feel pretty strange to read a Seo work that just gently cruises into a happy ending for the last 20% of the series without any crazy nonsense gumming up the works.

There's just so little left. I guess I might be underestimating Seo.

I just hope it isn't like KNIM
which was completely out of character for everyone involved.

I was really thrown off when they decided to skip a year. I can understand skipping nearly all of if since Suzuka was there, but I didn't expect Yamato's captainship to basically be completely glossed over. I expected at least a chapter or two before a timeskip.

Anyways. The stuff with Honoka was pretty laughable. Honoka's thing about possibly getting back together then the next day having a boyfriend. And that they can't meet because he's jealous of Yamato. Can't see their relationship going well lol. It's like Honoka is dating her old self.

The saki stuff was also pretty lol. Entire thing was just a setup for 'oh boy, maybe he chooses this girl he hasn't talked to in over 3 years instead of Suzuka.' You obviously didn't like him all that much if you couldn't get him to talk to you during school. Seemed overall pointless and only goes to show that Yamato's promises are worth absolutely nothing. Being the best runner in high school, going to the same college as her, all RIP. I highly doubt he'll ever do anything with his running ability in college.

Though I'm glad he finally laid out the major problems they had in their first relationship. Terrible communication between them throughout their relationship caused basically all their problems and how could it be Suzuka if it didn't continue! Deciding to hide that he invited Honoka was quite lol after that speech, running away from Yamato after the grope (and Yamato going for the grope first). At least they ended up talking about it after that.

And Arima. Oh boy. It was always toyed around with that he might be some sort of romantic rival for Yamato but in the end it was always just Yamato's own thoughts. And then the last time we see him it ends with him thinking Yamato was his biggest rival after all. I always thought Arima could have been a more important character in the series but I guess he was always destined to be some sort of abstract figure to Yamato. Always better than him in track and always possibly causing some romantic trouble between him and Suzuka.

Yuuka's stuff was about as expected, I never expected her to end up with him. Glad it was at least tied off, even though she was always terrible she deserves that much.

So little Hashiba this set, but if she's not being with Yamato a lot her life must be going great (although it looks like she's being shipped with the worst guy in the series). I hope they don't end up together.

Not too bad of a set, looks like everything is wrapping up. I really felt that like the first few chapters were so entirely stupid that all I could think about was about how stupid it felt.

He's so inconsequential to the series I actually forgot that he showed up at all.
I have no idea why Arima would still see Yamato as a rival, his results didn't justify it, and neither did his attitude.

I'm honestly surprised the Suzuka dated Arima plot never came up, felt like it would be a shoe in. Though I'm glad that didn't happen.

Yeah, I'm also glad it never got past his thoughts. I always expected it to happen but I guess Seo would have had to put more track in this and god forbid that happen when we could fill the time with more misconceptions.

There's no reason we can't have both. Suzuka being disappointed Yamato cause he didn't try hard enough and ended second, and starting to get closer to Aroma for example.
Seo didn't make full use of track drama potential.
Eroge no Taiyou 08-09

Please notice me Greek Plaster Bust Senpai~
If it does not talk why is it saying his name?!

I love you onii-chan!

As an old man is slowly dying some feet away from them.

Poor old man.

Tokyo Ghoul 37-40

Been really slowly picking my way through this. Didn't really catch my interest, but the latest few chapters were pretty interesting, maybe I'm starting to come around on it.

Sporting Salt 05

I'm a little disappointed there wasn't any groping.

I mean, this is kinda interesting but loses me when it goes into a 2 page medical discussion.

Suzuka 121-150

Seriously fuck this manga. All I have is hate while reading this shit. Just when I thought Suzuka would be out of the picture for a bit, she comes back within a few chapters. One year my ass, felt like a few days. I mean real talk every new introduced girl is light years better than Suzuka. Even a person with a shitty taste would agree. I'm just really sick of the bullshit in this series, fuck. I think I've been truly broken by this manga :(

I cant really care for any characters outside Miki, Yui (who's been screwed over), and maybe Saki. Anyways I'm just happy that Honoka fuckin crushed Yamato's hopes, based Honoka. Moved on with her life as a successful model. Then we get Saki a childhood friend of Yamato who has a expressive personality that I like and I actually liked her design. Though I'm just glad that she realized that shitty Yamato loves shitty Suzuka. Lessens the burden and helps her move on with her life and find someone else better than a dumbass like Yamato. Live a good life Saki as a fashion designer without Yamato. Then what do you know Yamato and Suzuka have sex, but the end result is utter shit and a waste of time because I don't give a damn about their characters. They are just terrible worthless characters that are going to college.

Yamato and Suzuka=Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Re-reading this till the part where I stop

so that I could finish it. The faces are killing me and plenty of Gash Bell fan services here.

You've made my day especially after reading shitty Suzuka. I'm glad your reading Tokyo Ghoul. Anyways the beginning is a bit slow, but damn once you hit Aogiri arc you will have seen the light my friend :)
