Oh definitely.Yeah, but better than the current ones.

Much better, thank you for sharing. Now the biggest challenge is going to be waiting nearly two months for more. You'd think that after so many years waiting would get easier, and yet two months seems like an eternity.

It's a bit better than the previous video, but still terrible quality.
I don't understand why they can't release the higher quality videos of these videos separately. He said at the beginning of this new video that they can only upload 720P video because of the technical limitation of their equipment.
Still, I appreciate them addressing these complaints from the fans.
Another aspect of FFXV that's similar to Dragon's Dogma is the ability to interact with enemies. We can climb onto tougher, larger targets and strike at their weak points and what not, and also the possibility of air combo.
Prompto sounds... interesting when he says "It's morning" or whatever, lol
Pretty sure there's some kind of fence/rail there that blocks his way. There seems to be an invisible wall at the 17:03 mark in the new video......I didn't notice that before. Noctis can't seem to move past that.

I saw that the first time actually. I thought it's just because of the slope. You can see at then end of the segment Prompto actually going past where that wall would be.
They should have also given an overview camera panning of Duscae in the tech demo presentation. Would have been nice to view the whole area from above and see how large it is.

I don't think we'll get this until after the demo. If it's really true that you can only explore a bit of Duscae in the demo, they'll probably release the demo, everyone will play, and then the next trailer shows an overview "Oh, look how much bigger the area of the demo actually is".
Edit
@Stark: Yeah they haven't even shown a minimap yet so I guess expecting it before the demo is wishful thinking.
I thought for a while that summoning something the size of Leviathan would be impossible in the game as I was expecting KH style corridors. Now though, seeing the map and the scale of some of the things living there, there are only a few places where a summon of that size would not fit comfortably. Hm. Makes me wonder if we really will call them out after all.
Did you guys notice a red thingy glowing in the forest, right after they see the cats? When they are running you can clearly see a red "glow" or something, and I'm pretty sure it is not the lighting. (Ignore the red dot above the arrow... )
Give it a check.
I still doubt that Summing will work that way. Sure, we see a GIANORMOUS Leviathan destroying Accordo, but I don't think that good ol' Lev will be of that size when we summon it. I bet they are going to come with a clever way of how summon works, though, but just unleashing that 10,000 feet monster into the wilderness to kill some Garulas and stuff? I highly doubt it.
I was skeptical as well, and it's hard to imagine how they'd work around cramped spaces like the caves. However if an enemy the size of the Adamantoise can just exist on the world map, maybe they can work this out as well. Nomura mentioned back in the day that most summons aren't Leviathan's size as well, so those would be pretty easy to utilize in that fashion I think. Mostly I'm just encouraged by the fact that creatures of that size exist in non-scripted areas as well.
I think it was a Naga

You remember all that water strafing around in the E313 trailer attacking soldiers and such? I think that's how large summons or in general will work.
They might surprise us at Jump Festa though. It is a big event and I'm expecting the first story trailer from there.

I always just assumed that once we have these summons we would be able to use humanoid versions of them and their special move would be to turn into gigantic monsters in a Crisis Core like cinematic for a giant attack. Otherwise, summoning something like Leviathan in that cave like dungeon would probably be catastrophic. But that's just my imagination running wild though.
I wouldn't really be surprised by this but eh. Might as well hope for the best. Summons being boiled down to spells rather than actual beasts would be a bit of a bummer to me, but it's pretty telling that those water bolts had Leviathan's face I agree.
If it's a story trailer, they'd better clear up that stella/luna confusion they pulled out suddenly.
I still think Luna is the other girl in the 2013 trailer, while the TGS trailer showed Stella.
Dunno because I'm not really sure who did FFT's... I said Matsuno just because it's a common theme in all his gameplay and battle balance. Whether it's coincidence or because it's always the same designers that he uses, I'm not sure. But whether it's TO, FFT, XII... maaaybe VS but probably the worst argument of the bunch. But for of them, I find they're typically poorly balanced and usually far more fun if you choose a few additional criteria or rules. I mean, the ZJS re-release is basically just that -- a few additional rules or criteria that make it far more fun. You can do that yourself in basically any TO/FFT/XII, too, and it's very rewarding and satisfying -- much better than just spamming Archers, TG Cid, Berskered Zodiac Spears and Bubbled/Reversed Lures, etc.Wasn't the battle system mostly Itou and not Matsuno?
Couple of questions guys
-What weapons do you think Noctis will be able to use? So far, since E3 2013, we've seen swords, knives, spears and greatswords. Nomura once talked about axes and maces, but that was at Versus times. Fireweapons then? We know Prompto uses rifles, but we can't control him. Maybe katanas (Cor)?

Sorry if this is an inane question, but is there a bullet point list/FAQ for this game yet using everything known about this game so far?
I am getting super excited about FFXV and I want to know more about it.
There are a lot more of other details that I've left out.
Thanks!
I would love all the stuff you left out too!
FFVIII Behemoths are based on Amano's original design for Behemoths for the first FF(but they weren't used until FFII):Regarding the Monster Design, the Behemots and Titans seen in the E3 demo looked straight out of Nomura's design he did for FFVIII.
This game literally looks like my dreams.
The whole melding of modern looking locations with the surrealism of the monsters and exaggerated geography in places (like the cave) is literally 'fantasy' in the most strict sense.
It's blowing my mind.
