Having fun with the single player campaign. Its so great too me. I was playing Destiny before this which didnt really have a story. So I'm having a blast so far. Visuals are great. Online MP seems very well done and fun too

I got the game for like 20 something dollars today after some coupons. I like it so far for the most part, but then again, I have that honeymoon phase with every cod I have played

Where does CoD even go after this? Exo suit movement is great and going back to a CoD without it would be difficult..

That's an issue that we, luckily, don't have to tackle. It's going to be very interesting to see what direction Treyarch will take the series after this title.

The year is 2345, shrink rays have been invented and two factions battle inside the body of an obese old man who is later revealed to be the president.

Was getting caught part of your plan?
Finished SP.

I'm confounded on how the hell they came up with that kind of ending given how everything was doing relatively fine cutscene wise for the rest of the game.

Have been trying to connect to a single match for the last 10ish hours off and on and cannot get past the finding game message in the lobby. NAT is open, firewalls off, uninstalled/reinstalled off my disc multiple times, power cycled my router, network tested multiple times, region settings are set correctly...I don't know why I can't connect to a match. I've never had this issue with a game for as long as I've been playing on XBL. I really don't know what else to try at this point.

I'm going to say the same thing about Exo that I said about Titanfall--wait a few weeks and judge again.

Extreme mobility tends to lead to increased rate of encounters. Increased rate of encounters can lead to a flat experience without highs and lows. It's a strong initial rush, but it's very taxing. This is what killed Titanfall for me.

I always feel like when it comes to choosing which guns to keep in perstiged, it's always best to keep the ones you get at high level. Though granted that's probably fairly obviously. D:

That was the dumbest ending I've seen in a video game in quite some time.

How did none of the reviews mention that?...

God this game has so many problems, even titles and emblems are glitched.
Still the most fun I have had with COD in years.

Man im only getting pants in loot,
9 pants, 3 guns and a hat.

I thought it was a pretty standard ending that leaves it open if they want to do a sequel, it was a bit sudden though. What did you think was wrong with it?

Why do you think they can make a sequel with that ending ?

Atlas which was the core of the game is ruined and we haven't seen any other company or bad guy. They could be a sequel "10 years later" though.

very last words of the game was that it still wasn't over? I do see what you mean though. I wouldn't mind another, I enjoyed the concept and it got me interested in COD for the first time since Black Ops.

Besides the Manticore deciding miraculously to not target Mitchell and crew even after it was known that they went rogue (you would think they would update the database...)

The scene where Spacey says "I COULD OF KILLED YOU BUT I'M NOT A MONSTER" and then proceeds to die by your hands 30 seconds later is absolutely cringe worthy. This is the same guy who has no problem killing thousands of innocent civilians, but he won't kill the one group of people who have any chance of stopping you/killing you? Why? It makes absolutely no sense and is catastrophically stupid.

Then Gideon magically appears next to you in the final moments after it was established that he was frozen due to the Exo hack.

The ending is just bad.

Max's review is spot-on for me. Finally got tier 3 scorestreaks consistently tonight, only to find they're nerfed and complete garbage. Even with all the add-ons, you'll be lucky to kill 3 or 4 people.

lol I did notice this one and I was like "seriously". Just goes off about not being a monster cause he won't kill you, takes out the golden gate bridge, uses chemical weapons, etc, but yeah he ain't no monster :p.

Holy crap I didn't even realize that til now LOL WTF

That was a great campaign. The story actually made sense, normally the storiee are terrible and lead down a tangent noone cares about.

But the game was short and the ending sucked. Oh well can't win them all.

Gotta say though the ending of Ghosts was pretty brilliant.

I'm not really getting much lag but the melee kills seem extremely hit and miss.

It's identical to the melee system in BO2 - you have to be making bodily contact with their body for the melee to work. They did this to get away from panic stabbing which teleported players due to aim-assist.

Uh.. I've run into this weird issue where the game is conspiring against me getting the Veteran completion achievement. I completed the game on Veteran, I set it to that difficulty from the start and never changed it. So I finish the game and no achievement, I'm thinking ok that's weird so I look at the mission select screen and there is a single mission that says regular. Weird, but no problem, I'll knock it out real quick. I finish that mission and now there are two more levels that it says were completed on regular that 10 minutes before I started the previous level said correctly finished on Veteran. Dafuq?

Ha ha that sounds like a really weird bug.

Weird, because all of his gripes are things that I'm actually enjoying about Advanced Warfare. I actually like that the score streaks aren't completely overpowered and that you have to rely more on your gun-on-gun skills to go on high streaks.

I also like how it doesn't feel like your traditional Call of Duty game because we've already had plenty of those in the past. The new Exo movements really do add a new and interesting dynamic to consider in the Call of Duty sandbox, which I am fond of quite a bit.

Agreed. The map aesthetics are disappointing considering how many great environments there are in the single player campaign. Still having lots of fun though.
Yup, every map is so industrial it loses the military feel.
Snow map? Great!... NVM its a lab.
Jungle map? Aweso... nope thats ruined as well.

I like traditionally themed maps, probably the reason Carrier is one of my favorites outside COD4's.

This is Sledgehammer's secret way of making you play the campaign forever.

I think I'm finally hitting my stride with this game. Went from 1.5 KD to 1.8 overall. Gonna take a break for now and go in again tomorrow but this time with a party.

So seriously guys, in MP do you really hear enemies and teammates footsteps? Because i don't. Neither with my 5.1, nor with my High End Headphones. Its impossible to play like that, if you cant hear people around you. What else would you rely on?

Does this COD not have stealth perks like the rest?

The ending is just bad.

The Manticore vacination was already given to them when they were inducted into Atlas.

Spacey is trying to convince himself he's not a shithead, so he decides not to kill his son's former best friend and his former best operative. It's a "My beef was never with you" moment.

Gideon was never going to be stuck in the EXO for life. It was more "Argh, fuck it. Go after him, I'll deal with this".

But "AHH, MITCHELL!" negates that all. They go for such a cliche ending.

Regarding the campaign, I just did "Manhunt". It was sweet for the most part but goddamn
fuck spotting the lame ass key target or whatever the hell that was in the intro.
