After all the failures on og Xbox and 360 Rare has become this obsessed studio that is desperate to nail a game that will sell tens of millions of copies. It's why they deformed Banjo with Nuts & Bolts. It's why they tried to find an entirely new audience with Kinect. It's why Craig Duncan, the fucking head of studio, keeps saying shit like "WE SHOULDN'T REVIVE OLD IPS WITHOUT THE RIGHT IDEA, WE NEED TO LOOK AT WHERE THE INDUSTRY IS GOING" and all that crap.

I have absolutely zero faith that this will be a game hardcore Rare fans will be excited about.

New talent can make good games but it's not uniquely Rare just as 343i isn't uniquely Bungie despite bringing in some of their key staff.

Agreed, they can still put together good games. Old Rare must point to non kinect games.

The "old Rare doesnt exist" was said when people like David Wise, Grant Kirkhope, Chris Seavor, Mark Botwood were at Rare and like today people expose thats old members still remain, it'll be ignored though.

Old Rare lives in Retro Studio, new Rare might as well be called Game Studio X, not the Rare you used to love in any shape or form.

Wake me when Retro makes a new IP or two and then I'll believe that. Retro may have made two of my favorite Donkey Kong games, but they haven't done near as much as the 90's Rare did.

Rare is a studio. Maybe the people who made Golden eye aren't all there but neither are the people who made grabbed by the ghoulies. New devs, new ideas, great ips fan still lead to great games.
