TitanFall PC - $5

Hardly. When I can be matchmade into different servers on other titles versus Titanfalls' constant 5+ times it puts me into the same game I just left on the same mode? Game is dead.

I've never played Titanfall on PC with a search over a minute, and I bought it last month. It's not dead.

Yeaaah, I never have any problems getting into a different active game. I'm not sure why you're having this issue, but it is definitely not the norm.

And likely, with this price drop, it'll be even easier to find an active game with all the new players.

I never have problems finding games. In fact, I tend to get games withing 30 seconds or less of searching, so I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Worth it at $5? Most definitely.

So, anyone? Is the smart pistol still the most prominent weapon on PC? On XB1 I t was rare when I ran into one compared to the PC matches I played during the beta and free access weekend.

So, does this game have enough content to justify a $5 purchase? Because that's one thing I keep hearing, is that it lacks content.

Will buy when I get home

Is the PC community still all about the smart pistol though? That's all I saw when I played during the free access weekend a while back.

.....yes. It's one of those "if you can't beat them, join them" things. However, I still prefer the C.A.R.

You probably don't see it a lot on XB1 due to auto aim being a prevalent thing.

$5?

This seems impossible to pass up on.

Damn if didn't end up buying three different versions of TitanFall. WTF.

How is Titanfall $5 already while Crysis 3 is still $10. At least with Crysis 3 I'd have some eyecandy to push my new 980 with.

I don't think I've seen a big budget game look more boring then Titanfall though, you gotta be hard pressed to convince me that $5 ain't worth it and they did so with spades.

Most of the people talking about "lol dead game" are regurgitating hearsay.

I get full matches within 10 seconds of queueing in a playlist with 40 people in my region - even if there aren't that many people playing, it's not like you need more than 12 for a full match. (It just means that it's tougher to dodge really good players.)

Also, PSA since no one seems to know this: matchmaking does not separate players by DLC ownership.

Never had trouble finding players in the more mainstream playlists.

Coop is also great, and has matchmaking. The game might have been a bit light on content when new, but the price drops and updates now makes it a steal.

Dumb question: Could I hold my own in the game while playing with a controller? I just bought my first pc and would love to play, but I don't want to be a complete liability to my team.

I have friends who play with a controller and they do fine. I think auto aim is enabled for controller users.

There's aim assist when using a controller on PC.

What does that mean? Do you get kicked out of a lobby if a DLC map comes up?

No, DLC maps just won't show up. Supposedly, DLC owners are matched with other DLC owners more frequently to avoid the issue.

Matchmaking tries to match DLC owners with other DLC owners, but it'll still prioritize getting a full lobby over substantially longer wait times. If not everyone in the match owns a DLC pack, the maps just won't show up in the rotation.

In my personal experience, getting the season pass did not affect the number of matches or the wait times at all, and the DLC maps show up all the time in normal play.

God being a PC gamer rules. Game launched at $59.99 + Xbox Live 7 months ago... now I just got it with better graphics, free online, and for $5.

I got it and enjoyed the hell out of it, but I favor the controller and would most likely get owned if I did have the opportunity to play with the Keyboard and Mouse folks. Sad but true. I am tempted just to see it with better graphics, but I will pass.

I would buy it at that price if the install wasn't 50 gigs and I could play more than just Attrition. Oh well

Is horde mode in the standard edition of the game? Might try to convince a few friends to go in for this if it is. Kind of a bummer the DLC isn't so steeply discounted along with it.

For 5 dollars I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of faster FPS with lots of movement.

I basically lost interest after about 2 months but not before putting in about 80 hours into the game.

It was a really good time...there was just a lack of things to do after a while. Game would have definitely benefit from more control over your matches, set length, set map, team switching when there is an empty spot etc etc.

Yeah it was a free patch for everyone.

Fuck, it's 15 in the mexican store.

Think Amazon can price match a code? It's how I have been getting my games there, getting the code and redeeming it through Origin.
