I really hope that Capcom does do a Dragon's Dogma 2, or spiritual successor in the vein of what Dark Souls was to Demon's Souls. I played DD1 for about 5 minutes before the horrible visuals made my eyes bleed, but there was definitely something good in it that I really wanted to experience. I'd even settle for a DD:Redux or something, just so I could experience the original properly.

While we are on the subject of Capcom, is there any chance, even the slightest chance that we will ever see another Ghost n Goblins, Ghouls n Ghosts, etc, mainline game again?

Not at this conference obviously, but somewhere down the track. A nice little downloadable title with gorgeous art would absolutely thrill me no end.

I feel the same. Played it first on the virtual console for the Wii. A true Dark Souls-esque game, really punishing but feels so rewarding when you put the bosses. My only gripe was that it was arcade style, if you died, you had to start all over again -_-

I dunno that stuff just bugs me, as if the modern day equivalent somehow trumps it in conversation by some miracle of time travel it was the one that did it first. If you guys are expecting FF7R, Crash, Shenmue 3, AND a massive third party exclusive, you are indeed setting yourself up for disappointment.

It should be a great show. Uncharted 4 will ensure that. We will have news on Sony packed-full 2015 planning (The Order, Bloodborne, Tearaway Unfolded, Until Dawn, The Tomorrow Children, Persona 5, Alienation, Ratchet & Clank, ...... the list is endless). We will have new annoucements (Ono is bound to give us something, David Jaffe is a sure bet too, Emagon is something).

We may get even more surprises. Gran Tourismo 7 could be unveiled there. Horizon could possibly appear if we are lucky. Hell, even The Last Guardian could actually exist and be re-revealed there.

But let's stop with the believe with things that have strictly 0 chance of ever happening, things that make no business sense whatsoever, at least at this point in time. We have enough to be excited about without hoping for the hopeless.

I understand your frustration but I was too lazy to go ahead and rectify my statement. It was the king in its time for difficulty. Dark Souls took from GnG.
