Thanks Javy, looking forward to some of those WWE Quick Hits and of course, the weirdness that is Tuesday Night Titans. I watched the Tito Santana one the other day and it sure is a weird show.

Oh, Hogan/Piper Rivalries is up. Can't say I'm as interested in that because I feel like I've been there a BUNCH of times in the past but WWE is good about adding new pieces in it. I'll probably watch it and the Monday Night War.

Hmm, I assume the skipped 143 and 144 Raw eps were already up?

Tuesday Night Titans? Prime Time Wrestling? Huh... I could see watching those one day. And maybe I will sooner than later because I'm coming to the end of '96 and don't want to continue my chronological viewings until the '97 Nitros are up.

Holy shit, this episode of Tuesday Night Titans on now.

They aired a clip of the first fall of a 1952 match with Classy Freddy Blassie. That was awesome.

I could go for more of this classic stuff.

I saw the Orndorff gym stuff. Pretty horrendous on a bunch of levels. I don't know why they felt...I just don't know.

Yeah, that was cringe worthy. Now Mr. Fuji is fitting Vince with a Japanese robe anand outfit. I love how you feel like you get more of a connection with the wrestlers through this show.

I don't think anything on TNT would air today. Either because it is so un PC by today's standards (Wonderful in the gym, Wonderful at the salon on the next episode, Fuji having to be held back from beating a geisha, Dr. D at home constantly threatening to beat his wife and kids) or because you'd never WANT to air it today (cooking segment with the Wild Samoans, Sal Bellomo making paper boats for a whole show, Ivan Putski teaching Al and Vince about Polish food, then a polka dance off, then Putski singing).

Things I really want added

WCW Saturday Night
WWF Superstars (Needs to go up to follow the old RAWs better)
Old House shows and New house shows. This is great original content. WOuld like to see the ECW house shows when it first started

Just watched a random WCW matched when I searched "Vader". It was a strange Battle Royal match where you have to get eliminated twice to lose. The match features Scott Steiner, Steve Austin, Sting, Buff Bagwell, Abdulla the Butcher, Mr. Hughes, Farooq, Goldust, Steamboat, Rick Rude, Vader and to my surprise Lex Luger. I had no clue that Lex and Vader were ever in the same promotion together, let alone the same match. Was a nice find with Sting winning.

While watching old WCW you can see that Sting was just way too cool for the promotion. He had much more of a WWF look and he sticks out like a sore thumb in WCW with all the southern guys

That would be Starrcade 91. It was their first Battlebowl show. They were obsessed with multi-ring matches.

The 1997 Rumble is on the Network right now. 1/3 of the entire Rumble is the shitty AAA/CMLL people that WCW didn't want and Mil Mascaras. Mascaras comes in there and just no-sells everyone. Owen Hart looked like he wanted to legit kick his ass.

Apparently when they first put the Network up, the One Night Only PPV in 1997 did not have the Bret Hart vs Undertaker match. Wikipedia's explanation why:

The event was available on pay-per-view in Canada and Europe, but not in the United States: the storyline reason for this was that WWF Champion Bret Hart – then employing an Anti-American gimmick – had used a clause in his contract to block the event from being shown live in the US. It was subsequently released on home video there.

Anyway, they have since uploaded the full version with Bret vs Undertaker.

They finally did? As of a few months ago, it was the gimped version.

Good news:

Observer said:
--The WWE Network will be putting up a lot of new footage in the VOD section starting on Sunday. For the next 12 days, there will be new Attitude Era episodes of Raw, Smackdown and Sunday Night Heat.

Hell they still didn't finish 1995 :/....

They did. They're to right after WM12 now. But the last time they uploaded "Attitude Era" Raws, it was all 1998 and 1999 and in no order of any kind. 1996 WWF fucking sucks besides Real Ass Stone Cold and the feud with Bret. Shit took a massive nose dive after Hall and Nash left. It's so stale and plodding and boring.

The hottest heel in the promotion in 1996 was Goldust, and even they had him doing totally nothing after he lost the IC title in Ahmed in June until he randomly turned babyface against Triple H and Jerry Lawler at the end of the year.

Goldust's feud with Marc Mero had real potential because they could have had Marlena act all weird towards Sable, but they didn't go there.

I still don't understand why they don't just upload a raw and nitro every monday, a new smackdown every thursday, a new heat every sunday, etc.

doesn't that make more sense than long periods of nothing and then a bunch of stuff all at once?

It does, but that would require them to build up a backlog to cover periods of downtime in whatever conversion process they are using. The folks converting the video may be other production staff who are doing this between other responsibilities.

Am I to believe they have converted TNT and Prime Time Wrestling (which even upgraded is still barely even standard def, especially TNT) before Attitude Era stuff that they hype more than anything? When you watch their shows like Countdown and MNW, they have footage from tons of eps they haven't uploaded. They just like the trickle down content for whatever reason. It's stupid. They have SO MUCH content. More content than anyone could ever watch. There is no need to trickle it out so slowly.

WWE is basically playing it safe. When subscribers start to cancel their subscriptions= add new content.

This is chess not checkers....even though I don't know why the fuck WWE doing that shit...
