Thiiis. Mark this in your schedules people. It's gonna blow your fucking mind.

Seems like the Uncharted run is something I need to catch up to.

Can you guys think of a recently released (past 3 years) game that will likely have a ton of similar skips/glitches after enough time has passed?

I've never played Destiny, but I see people mention ways to shortcut boss fights and such. I assume that requires online and doing those fights wouldn't really fit this sort of speedrun play, though.

How exactly did you do it? Pulling the PS3 out tomorrow to try.

I'm pretty sure it was said that you put the back left side of your back against a wall then hold back left on the left stick while mashing to aim. Miiiight be wrong but I believe they explain it towards the start of the run on the VOD.

World records during AGDQ must not happen often, huh?

Not really, no. Since you only get the one run they tend to play it safe with riskier strategies and there's no resetting if you screw up. Plus they talk a lot to explain things so it can be distracting.

I think it's safe to say there's at least one every year? So yeah, out of all the game ran over the week it's pretty rare. I think last year Toufool got it for Diddy Kong Racing (much better than this year's race, the game is really fun to watch when you have the guy running it explaining what he's doing) but I'm not sure of the two years before that.

Apparently the previous inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood WR was 27:22 set on December 14th by the same runner!

He crushed his record by almost 30 seconds! Sick city! :O

Edit: During this previous WR run, he actually mentions at the end that he'd be thrilled if he could PB at AGDQ but was just nervous to be playing in front of a 10,000-30,000 live audience. Well, he just WR'd in front of +80,000!!
