The Order: 1886 has gone gold

Shit! All the gifs are bringing my computer to its knee. Goddamn I can't even scroll up and down as it is freezing. Maybe it is incapable of handling the greatness of those gifs.

Rehost it?

I'm guessing it's the one from Dual Shockers:

Rehosted to Imgur.

Looks awesome. Side note, it looks very similar to Whitechapel today. I'm guessing it wasn't that different in the 1800's as far as architecture was concerned?

Man, the lighting is great in this image. Even on that crappy off-screen image.

It's a known issue with Chrome lately. I switched to FF and they load and play instantly and smoothly. I probably won't switch back, even if they do fix it.

Oh guys, I think it's nice the game releasing at the same day for everyone xD But man, it could be worldwide in the tuesday before the 20th, then I'd enjoy my days off the work playing this beauty. But, friday it's then. Can't fucking wait!!!!!

That I can agree with, as I always have less time to play on weekends. The usual release on friday just isn't optimal for me, but I guess I'm in the minority there.

I have the game pre-ordered, and I can't wait to play it. Definitely my most waited game of this year.

I'm getting this digital with a friend (50/50). Between The Order and all the PS Plus games of February - its good times for ps4 people starting next month.

So glad that the threads about this game, now have a more postive and optimistic tone. Especially those RAD Devs reading Gaf, should be happy right now :)

The Order is one of those games where even though my instinct tells me it's going to be a rather deficient third person shooter from a design and gameplay perspective, I will probably squeeze considerable enjoyment out of it by doing my "guided art tour" approach to playing it.

People familiar with me know for example I took over 50 hours to beat Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite, because of my approach to playing them and analyzing every nuance of their artistic direction, texture work and overall impact. If there is one thing that seems indisputable about The Order, it's that it is one lovingly designed game from an artistic perspective.

This thread is already at over 1000 replies. I was always under the impression that The Order was one of the most hyped games on GAF.

It's the first thread were the majority is excited about the game, all the others were filled with post about how it's generic or the gameplay looks bad or complaining about no multiplayer/co-op.

I don't think you should say that in public.

I hate being that guy, but what is it you guys see in there? It's so tiny! Not saying the game doesn't look amazing from what we've seen, but that just looks like a closed street with three (four?) NPCs. You guys are jizzing all over your keyboards and I feel like I'm missing something.

I don't get how "it is beautiful and I want to play it" equates to me busting a nut on my keyboard, but it was more of a general statement on what has been shown (and what I've seen). I don't participate in any of the threads and was simply adding my two cents.

Yeah this still astounds me. I still cannot fathom how that is possible. How long did you take to beat the remaster if you did purchase it?

So everyone is now pretending they didn't take a good hundred hours to beat The Last of Us? I was impressed that that it took Amir0x only fifty hours, but now folks are saying that's too long. Am I supposed to believe you all are superhuman, or have you all turned into lying, dishonourable peasants all of a sudden?

Goddamn sir. Fucking legend.

This games graphics are so marvelous. I am still wondering if we've seen the most impressive graphical achievements this game had to offer or if the game still had its most terrific environments still to be seen.
