Well since we had the P4D trailer we might have two Persona 5 trailers tommorow, for ??? and ?????

The second ??? event might be something different from P4D and P5, actually. P4D being the first was kind of a surprise, and they clearly listed one of the ??? events as being a repeat. ????? is clearly Persona 5.

Looking forward to finding out.

I really enjoyedthis part of the stream, the top 10 characters, top 25 persona song, the p3 anime stuff and the new P4DAN song were worth it. I overslept for the early boring stuff so i missed nothing of importance.

Random thoughts based on the image:

• The fire coming out of its eye reminds me of the flaming demon/persona we saw in the anime trailer. Maybe the MC's main persona is agi based.
• The lettering is done up like a ransom note. This fits given that it says "Take Your Heart". I'm thinking this is a song, like the main theme or the battle theme.
• While I thought the masquerade masks of the last image were fleeting references to Phantom of the Opera, the top hat kind of seals it. I doubt the characters would wear top hats, but perhaps the MC's main persona wears one, hmm?

I dunno man, a common interpretation of the P4 savepoint (a blue butterfly) is Philemon still looking over people capable of using a Persona. It would be awesome and not too far fetched if he returned as a more active character in P5.

Takes inspiration from the occult as well.

It's Jungian psychology.

Fifth Business follows all of that, and so does Phantom of the Opera although I haven't been exposed to that as much.

The thing gives me Fifth Business vibes, but it's inspired by the Phantom of the Opera most likely based on prior knowledge about the game and it also being the more popular work.
