I stopped going to the Smash thread once the game came out. I liked all the speculation and hype more than talking about the actual game

Well, it was posted before the game actually came out.

Bayo probably won't ever be in Smash Bros. because it is not worth trying to bastardize a character like her to fit an E10/T rating (or whatever the equivalent is).

Snake got around it because sex appeal and firearms aren't his main schtick, he used explosive weapons and CQC (and quit smoking) instead.

Someone posted a link to a mirror, it wouldn't be impossible to fake the video but it's pretty damn convincing that it's real though clearly not finished since you can hear a voice mention an error when the player tries to pick Rayman

Well, Mario Kart has an updated shop icon on its main menu for the two pieces of DLC that exist, so one would assume that's standard practice for Nintendo now.

pain about snake. While it's sad to lose such a big character, (and shame no amiibo for him), he simply doesn't deserve to be in Smash. They're skipping two games that are capable of running on Wii U (and they skipped Metal gear rising), so it doesn't really benefit Nintendo to add him in I think. Maybe it can still happen eventually but still.

I think there's more deserving characters, Sora, Layton, Phoenix Wright, someone from rhythm paradise (which was rumoured), Bayonetta, not to mention the ton of first party characters Nintendo have yet to implement.

Yeah, the moving background and the way the icons flow in have me convinced. I'll be much more surprised if it's fake.

Rayman in smash is yet to compute however. That's a pretty big one!
