MichiGAF or anyone really, best buy I hit up was a total bust. Got there 15 min early and there was a line of 6 people. First 3 got the non pre orders and that was that.

I was super nervous about my Meta Knight ship-to-home order, but he should be here sometime today.
Now watch me open the box and there is a Kirby amiibo inside.

Yeah. They did. They got pissy with everyone and they got called out and they froze up. The lady was like "There were extras...and uh they uh...went out on the shelves last night." I was there with 5 people and nobody got one.

So if we were to use deductive reasoning here, if these extras went out on the shelf after close, and they weren't there this morning...we're left with one option: The Employees hit the extras.

Looks like someone from Dublin on reddit has offered to pick me up a Meta Knight at retail+shipping cost as the stores near him have everything but Shulk. Fingers crossed they come through!!

They went up for like a minute. No one got preorders in. Most believe they will come back and they just put them up and accidentally pulled the preorder switch and then stopped immediately.

My friend who was just going to pick up "a few" amiibo called me this morning to tell me he was in the Best Buy line...

Hoping. In fact Amazon had the super mario line of amiibos listed for a least a week before they started selling them as I recall. Considering wave 4 aren't even listed yet tells me that the wait for Amazon is going to be a while yet, unless they do it differently this time for some reason.

So UPS emailed me to tell me they collected my sure post King Dedede and will deliver it themselves along with my auto renew k-cups from amazon, lol never had that happen before but okay...

Best buy didn't have ike, dedede , sonic or mega man but I got my pre order meta knight , just walked in at 10 am

Guy said I was lucky and that some weren't gonna get meta knight

Wonder if they are short on meta and selling first come first serve 0_o

Or maybe its if you don't have a pre order than RIP

Went to Best Buy, waited with some of the people from TRU last week. Everybody in line had a MK, good times.
Some people get theirs, and when it's my turn the clerk says hold on.
One of the guys preordered 8. The amount the store got was all actually his.
Long story short I'm the only one who didn't get it as the dude got 5.
I ask him right there to name his price. "I'm not a scalper, man." I ask him for real, what is his price to keep this toy from my 4 year old daughter and he ran off.
Edit: at least the group was there so that we could see the face of the Annapolis area scalper

I expect Fnac FR to cancel my MK and Shulk orders any day now.

Not even going to waste my time looking for them in London, the selection is always pathetic.

Stuck at work until noon, but my Meta is pre-ordered and waiting to be picked up. I'm still a bit anxious for some reason. Hopefully I won't be the last to pick up, in case I get a weird paint job or something. I'd imagine a lot of folks have to come by way later though.
