I think valve have their VR stuff or whatever in gdc, I haven't read much about it.

I've been taking a break from video games as well and haven't been keeping up with gaf lately, don't have much money to spend so I don't even keep up with deals and bundles.

My will to play Skyrim is sapped again. Took a long break and come back..all my magic and shouts are gone.

I literally don't even have the first shout you get in the main story.

I am back from Seoul.

Damn, what a great city that is. And I love their food-culture. I did not see many chubby or fat koreans and I guess the reason is, that every, and I mean every food, shows the exact amount of kcal-intake.
If you go to a Pizza place, it shows the kcal how much each Pizza you can buy (whole, half, 1/4th) and each food product shows exactly how much it is.
I somehow guess the Korean people really check how much they already ate today and then see how much they can still eat till they reach their limit.
Otherwise I cant explain the korean girls that eat a whole pig-feet, korean bbq etc. alone without even being chubby.

On another note. Any new japanese announcements in the last few days?

i kinda really want something like this ahri nendoroid but that thing's super expensive. i checked the valve and double fine merch stores but didn't find anything i liked there either...

make sure you try and distribute exp from kills to most members of your party, specially archers that almost never get the kills

it's really important, and sadly one of the most flawed parts of the game

Yeah, I've been trying to do that. I hate how pathetic the archers are.

Are the Life is Strange keys on Nuuvem region free? i know keys are generally free, but i remember reading that some publishers started locking some games.
Buying it for a friend.

they're kinda useful, but yeah, they're always underleveled and they don't do much. the shady guy with the pike is a beast so he kept getting all the kills

but in general the banner saga just has both a flawed leveling system and a generally broken combat system with the whole sharing damage and health thing and the way turns work

the fact that you'd rather just let 1 hp enemies stay alive so they can take out turns from the healthy enemies that actually deal damage is just really poor design. it's not even strategy, it's playing around the rules, and it's just a necessary, obtuse stupid thing

the leveling system is just as bad, as it makes it so that some classes level much faster than others that are more focused on hurting armor or just doing support stuff, which just limits your possible strategies or at least makes them suboptimal

the banner saga is a cool game but lots of design problems

i played most of the ones i bought there but been buying less and less from gog because card money, russian traders, nuuvem, etc.

also how come hotline miami 2 is 8 dollars on gog and 13 on steam? that's a pretty huge difference

Reading the thread for the new Firewatch footage is painful.

Fudging port-begging everywhere, but since it's not PC gamers 'begging' for it to come to PC, noone's getting banned.

I think I'll stay in SteamGAF and not venture outside anymore. Outside our strong, beautiful walls and our Steam-driven gates, there lies a road. One single downtrodden, dusty, low-res road, and do you know where it leads?

let people get worked up for whatever they want, it has no effect on you whatsoever

Wow! DB Xeno is still number 1. I bet that has Namco Bandai's attention. This is probably their best selling "fighting" game on Steam ever.

On another note, did I miss anything awesome today. I just got back from the woods.
