The difference is that GOG never needed a monthly thread and, we, despite things slowing considerably, still do. February is a short month and I doubt we'll be that far away from the threshold again until next year.

With Ubi's recent track record (for smaller games) like Grow Home, Valiant Hearts, and Child of Light I'm pretty interested in their near future output onto pc.

PC related announcements at E3? :D Besides games releasing on multiple platforms there shouldn't be much else and even then these games will be revealed either on Sony's or Microsoft's stage so you won't get to know if a game will release on PC until after the conferences. So at least form a PC gamer point of view it is healthiest to ignore E3 until the dust settles.

Either way I don't get why people are so hyped for these 2hr conferences which are primarily used to spread PR-nonsense with staged "live" gameplay. Does anyone here who does not own any of the current gen consoles even look forward to them?

Don't forget Bethesda has its own conference this year. That alone already means it will be the best E3 in a long time.

I know which, its fallout. :3 also offtopic, anyone know a really good portable battery? I want 1 that can charge my vita, 3ds,phone and tablet. Need 1 with a lot of juice in it.

The announcements matter certainly, but the magic of E3 really lies in the fun of guessing, making PR speak bingo cards, and intentionally overzealous fans. Kaz, Phil Spencer, Don Mattrick, Reggie, and Iwata gifs are a eternal memento of events past too.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a PS3 exclusive, if they want release ALL the collection and not a butchered one like the 360 version (missing MGS1 and MGS4, I'm talking here about the Legacy, of course, not the HD Collection), they would announce this on time. It CAN happen something during E3 2015, but if TPP will release on September 1, we won't see the Collection during 2015, maybe 2016.

I'm referring to the current HD Collection. That's why I said the HD Collection, complete with a capital "C". ;)

A PC release of the Gold Edition popped up in some country's classification database recently, but the DLC is all but assuredly not going to be given to current owners since it was never released on the PC.
