I do not understand how a company can buy the rights to a show for the express purpose of making a streaming version of it and yet be denied the international streaming rights to it. I don't know about the UK but content licensing here in Canada soocks.

Hey, question for everyone here: who are your favorite directors for this show? I feel like my top two (three?) would be Justin Lin and the Russo brothers, but Lin is way out of the show's league by now and the Russo brothers seem to have left it behind too.

I guess in the sense that they've done MCU movies, they'd also be technically out of Community's league now, but they were EPs and the founding directors of the show, so there's a deeper connection there that makes this make sense. Lin, on the other hand, is crazy busy and he was just a director for hire for three (really great) episodes.

I do love Keith David, though. I'm not even going to make a black Pierce joke because he actually seems to fit in well with the group.

Based on her IMDB listing, it appears her character isn't the one she played last season, which seems weird to me. But I'll take her any way I can get her. Except in all those serious roles she's been doing the last decade.
I thought it was funny that both her and Keith David have been on the show before and are back as different characters. It's weirdly coincidental.

It does look different. David seems like a perfect fit, shame he and Banks won't share any scenes. Brewster is a wild card, she was great in Dan Vs. but I haven't seen her in much aside from Criminal Minds. Hopefully, it doesn't go balls to the wall insane.

Although it does appear aesthetically "different", it looks more like Community than S4 and S5 to me. I'm hoping that seeing as S5 was a "reboot" of sorts, that it was destined to some of the same growing pains and issues that plague most sitcoms early on, and that S6 will be a second coming of the show hitting its post-inaugural-season stride. Like Season 2 part 2.
S5 was really bizarre in that sense. It had to deal with the dichotomy of being an effective season one of sorts -- both on the screen, with re-establishing the characters, and in the writer's room, just trying to hit their stride and find their tone again -- while concurrently having to up the ante on a show that had in actuality been around for four seasons prior.
I'm hopeful that the shift to Yahoo won't be too much of a distraction behind the scenes, and may actually even provide a bit of a creative spark that can make S6 shine.
My optimistic prediction:
S6 = S2 = S3 > S1 >> S5 >>>>>>>>>>>> s4
Worst case prediction:
S2 = S3 > S1 >> S5 = S6 >>>>>>>>>>>> s4
