Yeah it does have matchmaking. Its basically the same as any of the jobs.
For now I've only seen the introduction one being two player.

The online issues of this game seems to have spread to PC gamers. I can't even login to the social club in Max Payne 3. Damn yooooos!
That sucks, I was there trying to play on launch and that was just a nightmare. I suppose luckily for me , I wont have any real time to try the heists until thurs/fri, so I'm hoping they have the server issues ironed out by then. Those posts telling of their enjoyment of what was working has me hopeful though!

If you don't want to deal with some headaches I would recommend just waiting till next week or so. Or maybe you can schedule something with your mates that will try to avoid peak hours of traffic. I played a bit early this morning before work without any problems, probably not even going to bother trying tonight.

Not really surprising, this was hotly anticipated and given how many millions of people have GTA5.

Considering Destiny pulled it off pretty well from my experience. I'm a little dissapointed R* didn't have something in place.

Came here to mention this, they don't in multiplayer either though I was able to test both before getting kicked off completely. Pretty big bummer I hope it's not intentional.

Yeah. I also noticed the cars can now get oil leaks after crashes, or was that in before? If not, it obvious they tinkered with the damage model on purpose and failed miserably.

It's definitely not as bad as it was when it first launched.
It should be more stable in the coming days.
It's nice to see Rockstar were prepared as always for everyone trying to jump on to play, after the shitty start to GTAO for the first few weeks I can't say I understand how they aren't prepared at this point. I understand the initial rush and evening problems, but my friends and I have had trouble for the last two hours trying to do anything at all.

If you are getting it just for Heists I wouldn't recommend picking it up. Even though the heists are unlocked at lvl 12 it does seem to be tailored for higher lvl players.
You need to have some cash to front for the later heists and also to arm up with a decent arsenal of weapons, some are also unlock at higher lvls like the RPG and Heavy Sniper, even higher grades of body armor. The previous released DLC did remedy it a bit since you now have access to higher grade weapons from the start but they are also at a high price.
You can definitely play it but it will probably be a bit frustrating since you will end up dying way more since also lvl characters can't take that much damage either. You may have to grind some levels at first to prepare properly for heists.

Normally with past dlc everything would be unlocked to their respected hangar/garages for free but it seems nothing has been transferred to single player could be a bug tho.

I have a really odd pause menu bug where the tab headers are squished into the top lefthand corner. The servers are down for me, so I've been going after the Single Player mission medals. Fortunately I don't have the car deformation bug yet.

Just took bunch of cars into the mountains for some off road destruction and nothing but a few scratches...
