He poured a lot of work into MGS5, I think a better message would be not to buy future Metal Gear installments(after V). You just know they're going to milk this IP dry.

Funny that I thought of making a thread for easter eggs in MGS5 yesterday because of this situation, chickened out (Dunno why, couldn't decide if it was thread worthy), only to post this in a Kojima/Konima thread a day later but 1 minute earlier than you!

I'm really curious as to what's going on. Unfortunately, Konami's policy thus far seems to be to ignore the controversy and hope it goes away.

My guess is that Konami asked Kojima to make another MGS game after MGSV, and Kojima said no. Konami probably tried to bully Kojima by saying they will fire him and destroy his baby by wiping his name from everything he's ever made (possibly something they've threatened before because Kojima has wanted out from MGS for years) and Kojima eventually went "You know what? Go ahead. Fuck you, I'm done."

I'm calling it now. Kojima is going to go "missing" a month before mgs5 release. All signs will point to Konami being responsible. Konami changes company name to The Patriots the same day MGS5 drops. Kojima appears at a Mifnight launch party in full Solid Snake cosplay.
