Mortal Kombat uses only cardinal directions by default so individual button presses are the way to go however if you like more street fighter inspired inputs ( quarter circles ect..) you can change your inputs to "alternate" which might be more your speed if you like sliding your thumb instead of pressing.

yeah on PS4, i hit option but don't see anything about installing. This is really pissing me off, why wouldn't it just say what its doing someplace
Go into your PS4 settings > Playstation Network/Account management > restore licenses.
Once it's done boot up the game and see if you can play as Goro again.
I forgot just how bad the character models were in MK9 until I decided to play through the story mode last night (PS3) in preparation for X today... That is one bad looking game in today's standards

Disc has been in my console since noonish and nothing has changed. We just been playing local multiplayer till now. The into tab has no bar or anything indicating install status. Just shows I have like 35ish gigs of data installed

So I pre-ordered MKX for XB1 on Best Buy, it's delivering today and I see the Goro bonus on my pre-order. However when I try and click on order details, it just takes me to a white page. Does this on every browser on every computer and device I try it on. My other orders show up just fine when I click on order details.

Just got back from Best Buy. YMMV, but mine did price match Target's $20 off offer on the season pass, with Gamers Club Unlocked. So in total, I paid $58 for the game + season pass. (plus I already had $45 leftover trade credit, and a $10 certificate - so it was actually only $3 out of pocket.)

I bought the disc copy of the game and, without updating, I can only play as Scorpion or Sub-Zero? Not a big deal to update, but fucking hell I miss the days when you could just put a game in a play it.

I remember Injustice on PS4 also taking forever to install... like I needed about 3 gaming-sessions to get some modes installed there.
But I just installed MKX fine while playing tutorial and clicking through the menus... took maybe 10 to 15 minutes, then everything was available

I get the feeling I got lucky because they were kind of scrambling. The store had just opened, the guy taking my order was clearly still training, and it took them a full 15 minutes to find the Season Passes in the warehouse. Plus there was some headache in using the gift certificate - so by the time I showed the ad, they just immediately okay it. Another guy was doing the same thing, and ended up having an even bigger headache since they didn't get any PS4 passes in. But it seems like we both got the deal.

I know High Voltage did the port but have you played the pc port? Not much out there yet on how the port went... all of the issues right now is getting the full game downloaded..

I got my PS4 code from them early this morning. Still waiting on my Xbox One code though. On my BB order page it shows the PS4 order are complete and the Xbox One still in process. When I click on the order status for it it just takes me to a blank page.
