Is that supposed to be Emma on the left? Looks like Harry Potter.

I don't think "The Weapon to surpass Metal Gear" is the Patriots A.I

in the mgs wiki it says that The Patriods didn't start the A.I development until the 2000s after the Zanzibar Land Disturbance

Probably best to wait until the game actually comes out before assuming things that are clearly and deliberately left a mystery in trailers.

I just came to the full realization that because of the motherbase (or "forward base") invasions, there are limitless potentials for new sneaking situations.

I knew it was going to be awesome, but this is really does mean nearly unlimited sneaking MGS action... any day I can simply choose another base to sneak in to... every scenario will be different...

This is truly the MGS we have been waiting for brothers

Fuck Mother Base infiltration. I'm simply not interested.

Why? I think MB infiltration might be the thing I'm most excited for.

I think it'll be interesting. I also believe that YongYea was actually write in that analysis where it won't be the main Mother Base that is infiltrated, but the Forward Operating Base instead. It wouldn't make much sense if the Mother Base was invaded and players could tamper with your story related HQ (i.e, someone invades and kills Ocelot who is standing outside), so with the FOB, you can perhaps decide whether or not what items need to be placed there that you may be willing to lose. Obviously though, we'll need to know more, and confirmation, that that is how it works and what benefits you can receive from participating in it.

Sorry, IP. Pretty sure I'm entirely uninterested in any MP features. Including MGO3. If I want multiplayer, I'll play Halo.
Nothing wrong with that except the last part. MGO and Halo are nothing alike. Lumping all MP games/modes together is like saying MGS and COD are the same experience because they're both military shooters.

I know I was a bit crass, but I have my reasons. Also, I've always hated fan made content. Like fan made levels and such. I just know I'll ignore this feature entirely.

I had originally thought this, but now I believe I may spend more time invading bases that I originally thought... not really for the resource stealing but more for the new stealth scenarios

Are all the MGS2 'Snake Tales' fucking terrible, or just the first three? I want to drag myself through all of them, but I won't enjoy a minute of it at this rate.

they are an excuse to run around with solid snake in the big shell and really nothing more. the stories aren't very good and mostly silly stuff. i recall being extremely disappointed with them when substance released. i was hoping it would be some all new parts of the shell we hadn't seen, and that they'd basically tell SS/pliskin's B-side story of the plant chapter (think RE2).

Oh I'm not at all bothered about the story or setting, it's just the waves of enemies mixed with shitty controls that I can't stand.

In the Tanker chapter just before you get to the marine holds, there's a long ass corridor where you shoot dudes in the dark. In tale 3 you go back there and have to run and gun through infinitely re-spawning enemies.

I died so many times in the one where you're in the parcel room. I think you have to drag Emma out of there. It seems like the waves of enemies are endless.

That bit realllyyyy sucks - luckily EE doesn't die super easily. You get claymores for keeping one side 'secure', but someone usually runs into them instantly so all you've done is leave the other side open for advancement while you're pratting about putting claymores on the floor. It's really one of the poorest designed parts of a game that I've ever seen.

I'm just about to complete tale C, so at least I'm making some progress.

You've reminded me how tough the Snake tales are. I think they get overshadowed by the VR missions.

Yeah mother base invasions are looking dark souls-ish, which is a good thing.
MGSV is gonna be my life, so Multiplayer will keep the game interesting forever.
MGO/Mother Base invasions = never-ending game = "I'm afraid the game will be too long to finish" = troy baker saying "mgsv may be the biggest game I've ever seen... Skyrim is a play pen compared to it = "my next project will be controversial and I may lose my job" = Konami firing Kojima = New non-Kojima mgs = annualized MGS

So because of MP we're gonna get annualized MGS. Cool
