These are unit shipments + digital sales.

Make the first halfway decent DBZ game in almost a decade and people come a runnin'. Go figure.

So, so glad to see it selling well. The DBZ hype is real!

Very solid numbers all around. It's nice that anime games can still be this viable worldwide, especially SAO, being digital-only in North America.

Hopefully the next Dragon Ball and One Piece games are decent.

(There's no hope for SAO.)

Those numbers are worldwide btw, so that's how much SAO sold in all regions. Yes, Vita sales are that bad when 570k is considered "#1 best selling" for the year.

Not that any Vita game is pushing super huge units, but I don't think anyone said SAO was the #1 selling Vita game last year. That probably belongs to Minecraft, Borderlands (if you count bundles) or FFX|X-2 HD Remaster. SAO was the #1 Vita game on NA PSN in 2014. That's a different situation.

It flopped in Japan on everything but 3DS.

It was a late port on everything but 3DS in Japan. It also kind of underperformed on that platform there. Couldn't outsell the Wii port collection.
