David Cameron quote below:
‘I have always been a strong supporter of country sports.

‘It is my firm belief that people should have the freedom to hunt, so I share the frustration that many people feel about the Hunting Act and the way it was brought in by the last government.’
He's clearly not looking for a workable ban.

Lets be honest, we will never vote to leave the EU (even though I personally would like to) as every business the length and breadth of Britain will be coming out soon with the Sky falling in and mass redundancies the like we have never seen stories

and if there is one thing that panics people is losing their jobs, I expect we will even get these huge companies with 25,000+ employees telling us they will up roots and leave the day after if we vote to leave....

I am all for reasoned debate on it, but it will be about lies, lies and more lies from both sides

If the scots thought the media bias during their referendum was bad... They ain't seen nothing yet. It's gonna be piss funny, seemingly like civilisation didn't exist in this country prior to 1972.

End of story, you arent going to get anything more out of him

Also loved Trist Hunt getting shut down for completely changing the question, leader material

The SDLP are also launching a coup against their leader. It would seem the entire party wants Alasdair McDonnell to go, inc. former leader Durkan and the Deputy Leader Kelly. McDonnell is terribly uncharismatic (and avoided all publicity during the election campaign) and the party don't believe he can't lead solely from Westminster.

Tristram Hunt has less charisma than Ed

And has failed to answer two questions

Jesus wept

Tristam Hunt is a fucking waste of space. Can't answer shit.

The Labour Party doesn't really have any suitable candidates for leadership, does it? You know, fresh blood, new ideas, things like that? The current field of candidates looks dismal to say the least.

Burnham's not bad but he carries baggage. Perhaps stretching 'fresh blood' a little, but in fairness it's quite difficult to have fresh blood when you're only five years away from last being in office. Cameron ran against David Davis, a minister under Major, and that was a decade after the Conservatives left office. In terms of "never been a minister" fresh blood, I quite like Lammy, too. You're right it's thin pickings. Umunna, Kendall, and Creagh are all blargh, and Cooper is not fresh blood in the slightest.

He's my MP, having been parachuted in by the Labour NEC, and has the honour of being the MP elected on the smallest share of their electorate at 19.9%.

He was up against Michael fucking Gove, the most unpopular Education Minister since a certain Milk Snatcher, as Shadow Education Minister and hardly laid a glove on him.

Totally useless. Should be nowhere near parliament, never-mind the Labour leadership.

If you like Craig Bond, sure. Personally, for the man with good tastes, Jarvis fills in as a good Connery substitute.
He certainly has that lonely-in-a-forward-operating-base-bum-fun look about him, but I reckon Tristram would look more at home at a high stakes Montenegrin poker game. So, uhh, yeah Craig Bond indeed.

Cameron would be feverishly rubbing his lap-bound cat to excess whilst his tough second in command who needs to be violently dispatched before the final showdown would have to be Gove - very much the Oddjob of the Tory party.

"David... I haven't told you this yet... but I used to be a journalist. For The Times. I wrote two articles about henchmen. I've got strong opinions about minions. I know I can do this job."

(And So:)

Chuka has pulled out, either he could not get the 35MPs support or a deal has been done with another candidate I reckon

When I was in PHSE in 2nd year (age 13~?), our teacher whipped out her own dildo and got us all to put condoms on it. Good times.

Some kids at my school found my maths teacher's pink dildo in a classroom cupboard. On hindsight I suppose it could of been used for sex education but we didn't really have any sex education classes at that time, so the circumstances of its appearance were always suspicious.

Likely took a private investigator less than an hour to find something that people could use against him.

Who the hell wants to be put under that scrutiny?

I don't know why he ever thought he had a chance

that "british obama" hyperbole must have gone to his head.

Yvette Cooper & Andy Burnham are unelectable (gordo advisor and mdstaffs respectivley) but at least they're capable.

Any serious politician should know that this comes with the territory, not be scared off after a few days in the 'spotlight'...

Not that most people give half a fuck about the current underwhelming field of Labour leadership candidates anyway.

I look forward to 5 years of Andy Burnham being eviscerated by Cameron over Mid Staffs. The NHS boot will be on the other foot.

Lets not forget that he is also the Unions choice, so you can expect like the last 5 years the tories will drum this home time and time again, as they feel that worked, making Miliband out to be anti-business as he is a union man

I'm only really interested in a leadership candidate who is going to attack this sort of stuff, and try to find a solution.

http://www.theguardian.com/money/2015/may/14/tenant-evictions-reach-six-year-high-rising-rents-benefit-cuts

More cuts incoming means thing will get worse, number 1 issue for me. Both parties are failing on the big issues, the nhs reforms were irrelevant to what's coming down the line in public health.

Labour need to get serious about the nation and it's problems or I will just write SNP at the next election.

actually the more I think about it I reckon it is about a lot of Labour people feeling this is a 10 year battle....

and I reckon the next election which a lot of Labour people think is already lost, and the next leaders vote in 2020 if as expected they don't win will be the one they all want

2020, the big battle

Dan Jarvis vs Chuka Umunna

I have the distinct feeling you are going to be severely disappointed unless there are mp's yet to declare their candidacy.

BBC

The conservatives are now celebrating like they have already won 2020, they saw Dan Jarvis and Chuka Ummunna as their only threats, and the candidates left offer them no threat at all

Seems odd though as any story is likely to be published now anyway and he'll face similar scrutiny in the future.

It's better on him for the story to come out while he's a backbencher if any exists - then he would in a far better position to return to the leadership - assuming he was able to weather whatever was uncovered.

That is assuming the paper don't keep their powder dry until he seems a better target

I don't want to come over as a cunt, and I think that figure is disgraceful, however as a proportion of the rental market, 42000 is tiny

the solution is not just to keep paying more and more benefits, as all that does is fuel rent increases

Yep....just a real shame if one of the most promising candidates has given up due to the right-wing newspapers piling on the pressure. He was one of the candidates the Conservatives were most scared of...

how does that work?

honestly not being sarky, seriously don't understand enough about rents

Landlords charge a rent, people who can not afford that rent move in with the help of housing benefit..... if the Government does not start restricting housing benefit all landlords do is keep increasing their prices as they know the shortfall will be picked up by the tax payer...

of course there are more market forces at play, like shortfall of housing, but in the cruellest sense, if you can not afford a house you should not live there.... but in a caring society we would continue to pay their rent...

the solution is somewhere in the middle
