Four times the chibi-ness.

There's always that one scenario where the MC is already crushing on the nice girl.

And they actually seem sweet together.

But you know you're not going to root for it.

Because there's already another girl whose taken away that privilege.

Who consistently shows up and manages to outshine every other character.

And just keeps getting better and better every time she and the MC interact with each other.

This is one of them.

Kono Sekai ga Game da to Ore dake ga Shitteiru 01

Soma plays a lot of games. Then he gets tossed into a trollish MMO.

Nothing special, but I do like there's more detail to the whole MMO portion and the developers are such trolls.

I found this video really interesting on how it talks about Magus Bride and how it's doing really well even when the Author is a rookie. It's basically a Japanese public service video aimed at overseas audience.

I can definitely see why this series would get really popular and catch on with the Japanese crowd. I mean the art is really good and the setting is mystical and mysterious. The author tries to build her world first at a graceful pace rather than force cheesy romance or a big action piece, while having her characters develop at a gradual pace.

"Everyone, good job on defeating all of the current Elite 10. Now allow me to introduce you to the Real Six Funeral Wreaths Tootsuki Elite 10"

no joke, would drop the manga on the spot if that ever happens

Akagi 242

This was great just for Washizu going full crazy again. So what are the chances that Akagi will keep going after the Washizu arc finally ends?

Saki 143

Finally starting the captains match. Hopefully this one is more hype then the last captains match.

Assassination Classroom 140

That was quite touching. I feel bad for GoD (or rather Koro-Sensei? i have no Idea)

Dunno, everything was rather boring, but his human looks are awesome. Well and that they explained everything. Let's see how it will go now... Manga won't end anytime soon, because it's really popular.

Considering that there are 29 volumes out in Japan and it's still ongoing, I'd say the chances are pretty high. Of course, it remains to be seen as to whether the Washizu arc will be over in the next couple of chapters or not.

I'm pretty sure Washizu is on the cover of volume 29 and I know that the match is still going at chapter 250 so there's still a while to go.

Aw I should have known it's not over yet.

As fun and intense the match against Washizu is, I'd have preferred if there were more matches like the one against Urabe: not too long and still full of crazy plays from Akagi.

I agree. I hope after the Washizu arc we get at least one more smaller arc.

Time to start new mangas recommanded by GAF : first Monster Musume, then One Punch-Man.
Damn, the first one is so lewd ^^. I knew I shouldn't be reading this while commuting...

I just wikiwalk some part of Sidonia wiki, and now I'm quite interested. Can someone sell me on Knight of Sidonia?

Yeah it did, here's Part 2 and 3 of the video.

It's surely getting some traction in Japan, even with the Mangaka being fairly new.

Faerie english magic doing its work I see
Though I'm not really like how the author handles the confrontation between Elias and the Wandering Jew, feels cliched on that part. I'm feared the mangaka being rookie will ruin the excellent aura of magicness that she already built in first 10 chapters. Most best parts of the manga comes from low-conflict chapters where she focus more on magic or the character. Hopefully when another conflict chapter comes again, she already know how to handle it better.

Not going to sell you on Sidonia, just going to lay it out bluntly.

Sidonia has good art, extensive world building, and is very sci-fi especially since the story takes place on a colony ship that travels through space. The colony itself is a living environment, not just ship corridors and the like, and there's definitely a very carefully plotted out, breathing world aspect to it. The mech designs and fights are interesting.

However, the protagonist is remarkably boring in personality, with most of his 'moments' stemming from his 'ace' piloting skills rather than through any character of his own part. (This is a particular sticking point for me, because he's not so much a hard worker as "naturally talented" like all other privileged protagonists.) The story is crammed with sameface girls (literally), purposeless fanservice, females who just 'like' the protagonist, and repetitive relationship drama.

In one line: Knights of Sidonia is basically Attack on Titan in Space, but with significantly shittier female characters. I wouldn't recommend it.

Cant help but think this will mostly destroy the whole dojinshi culture, all to add a few bucks to the us ip industry's coffers.

Not that this the only evil part of the tpp.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is an awful treaty, for many many reasons, this is just one more to pile up, I can only hope it doesn't go forward.

I'm glad I'll be able to attend the main Comiket before something like this destroys it.

Okay, thanks for the reply. Guess some things are better from reading wiki rather than the actual thing.
