On the subject of the thread, would anyone be interested in helping me with some of the graphical assets for it? I'll basically just need transparent cutouts of the cast similar to what's in this thread's OP, albeit with their S2 designs and possibly one for Rose, Greg and Peridot as well.

I know the writers for the MLP comic have talked about how some story proposals were rejected due to being too similar to an upcoming episode, though I can't think of any that reached the synopsis stage. Still, this could be what happened.

I definitely didn't think the show would return so soon. Sometimes after shows go on their break it seems like they'll come back at random times but I definitely thought it was going to be later.

You're right. That's the only time we see that text.
Comics do stuff like this all the time; I'm pretty sure Marvel's had the Mythbusters in a crowd shot once, and one of the Spider-People in Spiderverse went to class with the cast of Evangelion. Heck, I think I read that the robots from Five Nights at Freddy's are blatantly part of Steven's toy collection in the comic, too. Still, it's nice to see cameos like this.
And I find it amusing that they picked Pearl and Garnet. And just Pearl and Garnet.

My GF and I have a ridiculous fondness for cats; she basically runs a one-person cat rescue and adoption service and, aside from ours, we usually have several temporarily living for us until they can be adopted (they just picked one up today, in fact). So it's really no surprise that we love so much how well the series captures the essence of living with a cat. Whenever we call one of our cats and they ignore us (which is often, obviously), we have taken to saying "Lion! Lion! Lion! ... Lion!". I've also been known to reenact the "blink if you love me" scene with my most beloved cat.
Seriously, cats are awesome.
Edit: I wrote all of this without remembering that "my most beloved cat" (lying next to me in the couch right now) is currently my avatar.

Like Rebecca Sugar leaving AT, I am certain it is the case. Guy is talented but unlike AT I don't think leaving the show will hurt the show aside from losing some of the LPT influences in future episodes.

A Steven Bomb is a week of all new episodes. They air new episodes each day of the week at the same time (typically 5 PM Eastern). There's about to be a Finn Bomb next week with all new Adventure Time episodes all week long.

Not bad. I don't like the character designs too much, but the humour was on point for me. Definitely worth checking out.
Considering how much Steven Universe changed from its pilot I would assume LPT would be no different.

Also the comment about 'DBZ on a strip mall' is spot on. The lead and the male alien dude are clearly Goku and Piccolo haha. As to the female seems to be a fighting Bulma.
