Fallout 4's release date listed as 2015 on the Bethesda store, GMG, Amazon, GS, EB

Seeing the trailer, it doesn't surprise me that it'd come out so soon. There was tons of gameplay that looked like a finished, or almost-finishes product.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I was just being sarcastic. He was thinking that a 2015 release would mean its rushed, thinking so because we just got confirmation of F4, so it feels like Bethesda literally just started developing this game yesterday.

Usually we hear about games a year to 2 years out.

Of course the game has been in dev for a long time, and I am all for this new marketing timing.

you're saying P5 with such certainty. I'd love it to come 2015 but there's no guarantees as far as I'm aware that it'll come to the west by this year.

There was less than 2 months between the JP and US release of SMTIV. So I think people are hoping that Atlus has a quick turn around for Persona 5. The game should be fully unveiled at the end of this month in Japan, and I expect the release date to be announced for late September or early October. So that gives them 2-3 months to get the US version out.

Not sure if posted but apparently this guy leaked a lot of Fallout 4 information on Reddit months ago.

2015 seems highly likely.
While I certainly agree with 2015 being likely, why does this "leak" keep getting bandied about when nothing about it stands up to scrutiny? All the information is hyper vague, based on preexisting rumors or already confirmed as false (e.g. their announcement roadmap is already proved wrong by the content of today's trailer).

Holy shit, it's really happening isn't it

It's been 5 years since a Fallout game and it's launching like 4 months after the announcement. Oh man.

we'll see but I've learned to not get my hopes up for Japanese games coming to the US in the same year, unless it's like Final Fantasy.

I understand your hesitation. Atlus USA said 2015 as recently as the February gameplay reveal though.

I like our chances.

If Fallout is 2015, I'm going to have zero time this fall.

That goes to witcher 3 ;)

Unfortunately for Witcher, for me as long as Bethesda doesn't screw up Fallout, it is not going to have a chance. And I was thinking Witcher 3 was my most likely candidate if Fallout didn't come out.

But, I'm just a *tad* bit biased (and I'm loving Witcher 3. But it's no shame to lose to Fallout at all).

Just got this email from GMG

I believe it. Everything in the trailer gave me the impression the game is pretty far along and probably already content complete.

I think 2015 is only being suggested to get people to pre order. This is a 2016 title AT BEST imo.

Are you being sarcastic? If not, you're completely out to lunch thinking 2016 is "at best". 2016 is "at worst". To even suggest 2017 is a possibility is plain stupid.

I love it when companies announce their games and release months later. Also no wonder sony is not worried about the lack of AAA exclusives this year.

Yeah.

I hate those endless circles of PR with like a thousand trailer that spoil all the fun and show off nearly every feature.

Watchdogs is certainly one of the biggest contenders...

Well I'm fully expecting a release date announcement at E3 this year.

On another topic. I see this game selling A LOT of PS4's and XB1's
