It's almost here!

I've seen the entire main story for the first chapters on Youtube because I didn't think I would ever get to play the game, and even knowing all the main stuff, I'm still super hyped to play it for myself.

Is there meant to be 10% off on the Humble Store as well? I'd prefer to buy it from there, but it's currently slightly more expenisve than from Steam.

I may not be able to download this for a couple of days but snapped up the Deluxe Edition the moment it popped up on Steam. Enjoyed the demo so really looking forward to see how bonkers the whole season is.

What do I need to do to get this in resolutions above 1080p? Tried some of the tweaks from the demo thread but it doesn't seem to work. It seems to have enabled a 1980x 1200 resolution for some reason but not 1440p.

Yeah. They might just not be added to the system just yet. They should propagate soon, though.

I was a bit pissed yesterday because I missed out on the first round of GOG summer deals, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, since I can spend that money on D4 instead.

I don't know whether to double dip right now or not. I mean, I want a second season and I want it on PC but... Do I buy again now or wait for a sale or wait for D4 Season 2 to be 100% confirmed and locked in stone?

I miss demos that you have to download from websites, instead of Steam. Will give it a try, but I'll probably buy the game regardless of performance

It's Unreal so there's almost certainly a way to do it. I'd like to know how so I can be ready when I finally get around to playing it!

Do come back with a PC performance analysis when you can, people. Hopefully this runs well. I played some of the demo, but I couldn't get hang of the controls. Maybe because I was playing with the controller, but it was quite awkward. I'm still interested in seeing how the final version performs as the requirements are quite high.

Haven't booted up the final version, but the demo ran very well on my rig.

- i7 4790
- GTX 970
- 8GB Ram

As far as the controls go, the mouse is WAY more intuitive than the control. I last tried this on XBO and I didn't like the way it played with a controller. I never owned a kinect either.

Any help on getting this game to run 1980x1080? For whatever reason the launcher doesn't give me the option. I've tried changing the .ini settings but I can't figure out how to bypass the launcher.

What resolution is Windows running at? I ran into this as well.

To bypass the launcher, \binaries\win64\d4game.exe

edit: Wait, apparently not(!)
