Is the enemy dancing weapon new? Ive only played 2 R&C games and i dont remember it in them.
Why is it $40? Another short game like Into the Nexus? That's a shame if true.
It was in previous RaC games as well, it was called the Groovitron iirc.

Yep
-reimagining of an older game, releasing in tandem with a film
-meaty SP campaign but lacking the MP component from other games in the series/many modern games
-more of a family friendly IP
None of the above are bad things - just good reasons for SCEA to want to release it at a lower price. I think releasing Tools of Destruction at $60 was a big mistake and they seem to have agreed.

People complaining a game is not full price lol. Developers cannot win.

What excuse. I bought TLOU twice (PS3 ver, vs. Remastered) and have played plenty of games at 60 fps vs. 30 fps. I am not foreign to PC gaming either. When we say smooth we refer to jankiness perceived by our eyes.
That argument was made by a previous poster, much slimmer and to the point.
As it pertains to this game, it's a hypothetical improvement that more than likely no one here will ever see. And chances of this game getting a remastered treatment are slim to none. That's the bottomline, and people are wasting their time foaming at 60 fps instead of looking at the game for what it's, 30 fps. It's just that simple.
The more is better argument is almost never wrong (except in the case of less is more). It's also a hypothetical.
Saved for the TLG bombshell.

No mp- collect-a-thon gameplay usually means one playtrough- maybe?
People will always find something to complain about. Over in the Mirror's Edge thread people are complaining that Faith doesn't look Asian enough.
Or quality since both of those games you mentioned were fantastic.Sly 4 was also $40. Puppeteer was also $40. It's not indicative of length

groovatron been in the series for a while, since tools of destruction i think
The gun is called pixelizer......Man the trolls are out in full force this morning

wait, did Tools of Destruction sold bad or something? I thought the sales for that is good. there's nothing wrong with the $60 price tag for Tools of Destruction, action platformer on PS2 days cost the same as any other game.
I do hope the Morph-O-Ray (AKA, the "Cluck-Cluck Gun") will be in this game, as that was my favourite weapon in the original Ratchet and Clank.
Mr. Stevenson, please give us a dynamic PS4 theme as a digital pre-order bonus. The Drake Collection one looks sick, and I love me some themes.
Thanks.
And a I showed you a "hypothetical" trailer that shouldn't exist in it's current form. And yet, the difference is still proven substantial. I've never seen a human run 100mph but I can guarantee running at 100mph is a lot faster than any human seen I've seen despite the "hypothetical" has yet to be proven in real life.
Bottomline, as it pertains to Ratchet and Clank, it's a more is better argument and it's a hypothetical. There are plenty of examples of improvement - A LOT of games - in the grand scheme of things is called tech advancement, progress etc. Point is, from where you're all sitting, it's a hypothetical and no one here can measure it, nor give an objective measurement of improvement. Whereas in the case of TLOU for example, you could (obviously taking into account better hardware too). Is it a hypothetical or not as it pertains to this case? The answer is yes. You'll can battle the semantics of it. It's of no consequence.
