Okay, someone explain it to me. This looks so completely underwhelming.

Why are people going nuts? Honestly don't see it.

Got to say, that wasn't nearly what the hype made it out to be.

It's a game that has been in development hell for literally a decade. And it looks it.

It also looks much the same as it did on PS3, too. But that gameplay showcased, constantly calling your catbird, that did not look hot. My guess is Sony has put it on the fasttrack to be out the door and be done with bad press.

It's a Team Ico game. It's going to be crazy awesome. That said I like puzzles and always expected this game to be centered on Ico-like gameplay.

Not even a fan of Uedas games but this looked great. Like the Guardian already more than some characters I've known for years.

Because it is directed by the same person who directed one of the best PS2 games, Shadow of the Colossus. Unfortunately (for me, at least), TLG is more like Ico than SOTC.

third game headed and designed by Ueda, the guy behind SoTC and Ico. In the same vein as both of them.

Never released, believed to be dead.

The dream is actually real.

Playing it will likely be a different story, but the rereveal was a bit underwhelming. I think they should have showed a trailer with different segments instead of the gameplay they chose to showcase

Man was that underwhelming and slow. The main character's movements and animation were choppy, the camera movement was stiff, the graphics were barely above PS3 level, the feathers looked awful, and the gameplay looked slower and more boring than Ico.

And that voice acting was annoying as shit.

Hopefully that was not representative of the final game.

Their last game was really awesome so this one is getting the benefit of the doubt. And I thought the atmosphere in this gameplay trailer was pretty top notch. Nice art style and music. Really liking it so far.

The core concept potentially being one big "protect/guide NPC" mission is risky, and the development history is worrisome, but I'm excited to try it.

I don't know. I think The Last Guardian is just a hard game to show. Its best parts are hard to convey by trailers or gameplay showings. It kinda reminds me of Nintendo games in that regard.

But I'm pretty sure it will end up being a pretty damn good game.

I don't want to be accused of just hating on something, but after this long, I was expecting something more. Don't quite see yet why this couldn't have been last gen.

It's really cool that it will finally release though.

Lol and everybody's complaining.

Never change, gaming

Well, there nothing wrong with critiquing someting. The wait and reputation from years of hype is bound to backfire on it when it doesn't inevitably change the world which may not befair. But not everyone has to slobber it with praise either just because it exists.
