My WiiU had not been turned on in a long time so I skipped this conference...but after these posts I have to go watch it

I was kinda down on robot dinosaurs last night, but after this shit-show, robot dinosaurs are actually looking pretty damn awesome to me.

So now I have literally nothing to be excited for in regards to my 3DS or my WiiU. Might get Mario Maker, Yarn Yoshi and the Paper Mario Superstars thing but even those I'm only 50/50 on.

They did nothing with this Digital Event to keep Wii U gamers interested until NX is out, multiple people even said they might end up selling their Wii U after this.

And the Digital Event did nothing that would pull new people in.

crazy.

Expected it and I'm actually glad. It seems like only pressure from investors can save this shit.

Honestly, I don't think the announcements were all that bad. It was just...sooooo boring. Being prerecorded doesn't help either because it just sterilizes the presentation.

My jaw is on the floor.

You know, it's a good thing Splatoon became such a big franchise so quickly. It's going to be carrying the Wii U until Zelda comes out.

Was M&L with PM tacked on....eh, sorry M&L + PM crossover the only new thing announced that wasn't first and foremost focused on casual gamers?

I liked it, Nintendo showed more games I am interested in than any of the other companies. They're going to have a wonderful Holiday lineup too, Star Fox looks great.

Whelp, that was underwhelming. I was trying to hold back laughter as they concluded with the Mario music, I kept getting flashes of NintendoLand fireworks. Hopefully this is like last year and they reveal other stuff throughout the next couple days.

At least Starfox, Xenoblade and Mario Tennis are coming this year.

lol star fox is another fucking remake!

I dont give a fuck its a "remagining". its fucking corneria 64 nearly shot by shot.
Yeah, I thought that was weird, so much of the footage seemed so derivative. I still want to play it, but I couldn't believe they get showing him going through gates in Corneria over and over.

So was it disappointing because you legitimately thought everything was bad or was it disappointing because you had sky high expectations for everything you thought they'd show?

I get a very rude amusement despite myself, thinking about the Nintendo fans who were offended by the "presumptuous" claims that "Sony won E3" last night and this morning. 😆

Wow that was so bad. Like I can't believe how Terrible that was. Did they even announce anything new? Zelda 3 player and a metroid something?

Very disappointing.

What a letdown. Almost nothing new, just a bunch of titles we already knew about since the last E3. I was watching the time and kept thinking there would be something, anything new or unexpected any moment or at least at the end. The lack of mainline Metroid and AC games was really disappointing. Unless they've got something in store during the Treehouse segments this E3 is a bust for Nintendo.
