Really sucks but for whatever reason the devs seemed to be in M$ bed from the beginning. Guess I'll play it on PC ha-ha.
Idk may try to find a cheap used xbone that bc announcement still got me hype as I have a ton of 360 games.
I want to play Cuphead for the sheer glory of the visual presentation, it's absolutely one of the best looking games i've ever seen.
I just really hope it's, you know, good. As a game. I hope they didn't lose focus of the gameplay part because they were working day and night to hand-craft the animations and graphics. Either way, can't wait. A game where i'll gladly trot out the ol' comfy couch PC-in-the-living-room experience for.
Dumb. I hope it doesnt lead to an escalated indie war between MS and Sony. : /
Still looking forward to playing Cuphead on Xbox One, though. Game looks so pretty!
I love how Cuphead has console-moving potential. So much for AAA
I have always found it a bit silly how people feel the need to point out what platform they are going to get a game on. It just comes across as very shill-ish at times. "Yea, cant wait to play this new game on my Sony Playstation 4 Computer Entertainment Console!" Like, who cares? Why do you need to make it a 'statement' thing? I suppose it makes sense in certain situations where there are distinct differences between versions of a game beyond just petty graphical differences, but otherwise, it serves no purpose other than to declare your platform preference, or in some cases, your dismissive attitude over another platform. Like here, people saying, "Will get on PC, have no interest in XB1". Like, ok? It's a bit different than somebody saying, "Glad this is coming to PC so I can play it, too!" or something like that, which is just being happy for being included. Why not? They're just stating on which console they're gonna buy it and that they are supporting the game with the purchase. Does it hurt your feelings or something that they won't buy it on the XBO? Game will get bought. Win for the dev. And that's what counts.
And yep, Cuphead's artstyle is fantastic.
Without a kickstarter, funny that. It's dumb that they are providing extra funds to expand the scope of the game?
The Sony Pub Fund doesn't require "lifetime" exclusivity afaik. It's dumb that they are providing extra funds to expand the scope of the game?
I think it's interesting and I like these comments. Just look at the "No Man's Sky for PS4 and PC at the same time" thread. I wanna know how people (with a console + Gaming-PC) react when they have the choice:I have always found it a bit silly how people feel the need to point out what platform they are going to get a game on. I dunno. Not a huge deal, but definitely something I've noticed at times.
Well look at Shenue III, that's not going to come to Xbox. The Sony Pub Fund doesn't require "lifetime" exclusivity afaik.
I don't know exactly how these deals work so maybe it's a dumb comparison. It's great that they get to expand the scope of the game, of course.

and that's just as unfortunate imo. Third party exclusives are coming back in full force, I suppose.Well look at Shenue III, that's not going to come to Xbox.
I did ;_;Plz tell me you guys didn't make another bet with those avatars.
Ain't got time to read. Need to let people know I'm not buying an Xbox.
Cuphead looking way more fun than No Man's Sky IMO.

You are cursed ahaha.I did ;_;
Never thought S+E would make a FFVII Remake. There was... no way in hell.
I lost.... and I'm loving it. TLOU and FFVII are my favourite games of all time.
Weirdest comparison ever.
Good job I own a PC then, cos I sure as hell ain't buying an Xbox One
Cuphead, just from a visual standpoint, looks fantastic. It's a shame it'll be an exclusive because I don't plan on getting an Xbox
That's fine with me Mircosoft. I have a PC so I don't need an Xbox for either games.
Cuphead looks amazing~
No big to deal to me. Cuphead is available on PC, I have no desire to buy an xbox one.
But... I don't have an Xbox One. There must be a mistake.
It's like it's almost therapeutic at this point. Lmao.
I still find it incredibly creepy. It's a huge part of the charm.
Ashen definitely looks more up my alley. I'm not a huge 2d platformer kinda guy. Most of people are only talking about Cuphead.
I am sure Ashen will be a great game as well. The trailer in MS E3 conference is so amazing, especially when I saw that "flying monster" (sorry, i don't know what it is). At that time I got a feeling as The Last Guardian (and I don't know why...)
nope, it's just simple truth for a large part of the gaming world
What does lifetime console exclusive even mean ? Once the Xboxone is gone they can port it elsewhere ?
Don't know why Cuphead couldn't have gone the kickstarter route instead of first party publisher. I would've backed it.
Jonathan Holmes did an awesome interview with the brothers who made it, and at the time, they seemed to be alluding to more than just Xbox and PC. Things must have changed.
