What you need to do is explained. Go into the Forza hub or rewards and you can look in more detail about how you can earn points in each game. Ah, thank you. I had no idea that points were awarded every single month. I thought it was a one-hit deal.

Looks like going back to FM 2, 3 & 4 and buying a bunch of cheap cars might be tonight's little hobby.

I also preferred it much more. Felt a real sense of achievement starting out with a golf and earning enough to buy my first real super car!

Just a heads up FM2 isn't part of the rewards, its 3 and up.

They are not part of the loyalty rewards for 6. You could always get some achievements to get your tier up, but FM2 has the hardest achievements in the series.

Ah yeah sorry, I'm with you now. FM2 is needed to reach Tier 8 but you're right, only FM3, FM4, FH, FM5 and FH2 count for the garage rewards.

Saw the gameplay at 1080p 60FPS and it looked gorgeous but now I need more. Any plans for upcoming videos with similar quality? I hope so.

For curiosity sake I also decided to go to my page of Forza Rewards and I redeemed some things, apparently. Some credits for Horizon and Forza 4 and some credits for Horizon 2 and Forza 5 even if I don't own any of these or an Xbox One. I hope these will be waiting for me when the day arrives (same with the Fast & Furious add-on but I'm not sure if I did things correctly back then, might need to check my "purchasing" history on Xbox website)

Also saw a message on Forza Rewards: "Driving since 2011" Oh man... the memories. :')

Yeah I remember it being in FM4. It's a shame they dropped nearly all of their fictional tracks for FM5 though, that and Maple Valley were great circuits.

Edit: Also counting 26 locations there (25 if you combine Nurburgring), so it's good to see FM6 back up to speed in that regard.

The thing that gets forgotten about fictional tracks is that you always get twice the bang for your buck with the added reverse ribbons. It's annoying when official licenses don't let us race real-world tracks in reverse for 'reality' reasons. Blah blah blah IT'S A BLOODY GAME FFS! I drove the wrong way around the Nordschliefe unhindered in pCARS free practice the other night and it was unrecognisable. It was like a whole brand new free bonus track, and great fun too.

I know all the "yeah but...history" reasons and Dan's love for it but I really hate Indy. Easily the ugliest and most boring track in Forza's history. Utterly pointless with Sunset already on board, and a real waste of a track slot from the budget.

It is okay man, everyone hates Indy. Hell, I live here and I hate it. The infield is just a shitty course and since our state is flat as fuck, there isn't anything interesting around the track either.

Forza 6 is going to be incredible in motion on our own big-screens. I remember how much better 5 looked in person once I finally saw it in motion for myself.

That looks incredible! I need to get to playing this more but I'm just having the hardest time using a pad. Is there really only one wheel that works with the Xbone and the PS4? That stupidly expensive Fanatec Clubsport?

yup, forza 5 was/is a great game. the only really knock against it is its tiny track list but thankfully we got some great (and free!) track DLC.

Completely agree, it got far too much hate. I do think the storefront needs to come back though.

Is it too much to ask for more free track DLC in FM6 after launch? You can never have too many circuits!

I think it (FM5) still stands up against it's peers (at least in dry weather of course) in terms of visuals.

I was flicking between FM5 and PCars on the PS4 the other day, and was surprised just how good FM5 still looks.

Forza 5 was a pawn in the big anti-Xbox backlash at launch. For a launch game it was very good and while light on content back then the core simulation and gameplay was really good.

Gah I had mostly everything done in 2, 3 and 4. Don't have my 360 anymore and I didn't back up my saves. Found out about the garage size bonuses just a few months ago. I'm sitting, or rather was sitting, on tens of millions in past forzas.

Normally, I'd have said no, however......

I never set up cloud saving on the 360, and have started using some old 360 games on my One using the BC, and low and behold, all my saves are there, so you may be in luck.........

Oh I hope so. I know 3 is gone, as I tried starting it again a while ago and my save was gone. Hopefully 4 though...

If I do remember correctly, your progress in FM4 was always synced or checked online (somehow) to stop you running multiple saves. I think that's how it works.

I think I'm gonna try booting up FM2, 3 & 4 tonight to check the status of my game saves. No doubt it'll end up in a marathon session wearing a groove around Maple Valley, Mugello and the Montserrat Behemoth in a selection of Porsches.

Also looking forward to getting legit shook at how bad FM2 looks.

I took a shot of Forza 3 over the weekend.

Booted it back up, still looks incredible for the hardware.

Didn't try 2...or 1 for that matter. Kinda want to boot 1 back up.

I haven't tried this, but I'm pretty sure you can just buy a 6,000Cr car 100 times and have those count to your number of cars in your garage for the FM6 rewards. I have friends with over 440 cars in FM5 according to the forza rewards site and I don't think there were that many even with all the DLC cars.

For me the original FM5 economy was too grindy for non-VIP members and I preferred the doubled XP-reward after the fix, however... the forza-rewards program just compleeetely fucks the economy. I made a new gamertag for Xbox One and am Tier 6 again already without having played any Xbox360 Forza on that account.
Probably I'll not even redeem the 200+ cars rewards for FM5 and FH2 in FM6. I'll go VIP this time again and that will break the economy enough for me.
