ok what i got from this
- They are seriously thinking about getting us a physical PS4 release and tell us just to be patient.
- Paypal is being considered, will probably be implemented later
- You get to take on the 4 Chiyoumen bosses
- Skill Tree System is for building up martial arts abilities (linked to scrolls).
- Character Perspective System lets you play as Shenhua and Ren in Baisha.
- Shenmue 3 wont finish the story, which i'm actually happy with, i dont want Yu to rush this even if we are put on a cliffhanger for another 14 years,
is there any other stuff i'm missing

That's kinda harsh, I mean as soon as the KS is over Crappy Japan is out of the picture and Ys Net will get the job done no matter what, that we can be sure of.

That Q &A session doesn't instill any confidence for Shenmue 3. Besides repeating things that were already said, maybe he was too nervous? I got a good laugh out of it. I hope Yu Suzuki drops them and go with someone else.

If Sony comes in, that's a different story.
But clearly at this moment, they don't have any alternatives. And Ys Net most likely has no English-speaking PR expert among their staff, it's all been outsourced to AJ.
As bad as AJ has been, at least they've done the bare terrible minimum which is update KS, respond to backer questions, set-up this terrible stream, etc.
There's absolutely no guarantee that if they're fired today, Ys Net will be equipped to even do the bare minimum that AJ was doing. No updates is worse than some updates.
Someone needs to upload this to Youtube and hope it becomes the Konami E3 conference. It's up there in terms of cringe levels.

Horrible. That's not even funny. After waiting for 14 years, these guys have the potential to seriously hurt the campaign. That was so unprofessional, I don't have the right words to describe it. I have zero confidence in their capabilities to manage the kickstarter.

Probably and I agree, the quality has to improve. However, Shenmue III was dead for over 14 years. Bloodstained was just handled exceptionally well and I think these guys are trying.
Besides, the stream was entertaining

I thought you guys were being whiny impatient gamers when you were unsatisfied with how the KS is being managed. But HOLY SHIT! Yeah. I'm not very happy with where I put my money right now.

To be fair I've seen one or two snippets of Kojima broadcasts, and it's similarly odd and disjointed due to translation etc. It did seem far too hastily organised. Could have been smoother, with questions plucked from the internet in advance rather than the dude skimming the chat and trying to remind himself what he needed to ask. It just had that odd delivery style a lot of stuff out of Japan suffers from. The audio echo issues, and then low audio WAS an issue, and I missed a lot of it.
Overall the Kickstarter isn't as polished as anyone would like, considering all this time has passed you'd think they'd formulate a really polished plan. This feels a bit slapdash. Still supporting it and wish I could support it more, I really hope this doesn't negatively affect the KS though.
Really hoping from one final prayer to be answered and just have Sony do what they should have done all along and offer to fund the rest up to the $10 million, as much as they've been adamant that's not the plan.

No, Cedric is the Shibuya Productions President & CEO. They are currently producing the new Astroboy TV series.
This guy works at Awesome Japan. They appear to be a startup that provide consultation on digital marketing. They are running the digital promotion (Kickstarter design, twitch, etc. And probably advising on how to 'maximise' the kickstarter)

Pretty much why I'm an advocate for a '2nd-round of crowdfunding' in say, 2016, with a completely different team and set-up.

Cedric Biscay is the co-producer of the game, and runs Shibuya Productions. They're handling the PC version of the game.
These guys work for Awesome Japan, and are running the campaign.

Yeah, I was surprised as well. I'm watching this now, originally thinking it can't be all that bad, but this twitch stream straight up seems like it's being handled like a lazy school project.

He's not. There's even a picture of Cedric Biscay on the Kickstarter page, and he runs a completely different company than these guys are at. I'm not sure why people are even linking the two.

Just had a look at a screenshot of the KS from earlier. 150 more backers and they made over 30k.
Thanks there was also confirmation Suzuki-san would like to see Shenmue 1 & 2 remastered before release of Shenmue 3 as the rights are owned by Sega he plans on speaking to them.
There was some info about battle scroll techniques but frankly I was confused if it falls under free battle or something else as the translator mentioned QTE so it wasn't clear to me.
